Name: Freddy Sex: MaleBreed: Chihuahua mixDOB: 10/31/23Location: East Pembroke Freddy is a sweet little guy that needs a family to help him learn some more confidence. He is using a doggy door to work on potty training. He is fully crate trained for at night. Freddy is learning how to be the best pup and gets little spurts of wanting to play with his foster siblings (pups) but he’s not very interested in toys or chewing anything. He does amazing with dogs and kids, unsure of cats. Freddy loves a good belly rub as well. Freddy would love to join your family! If you’re interested in adopting Freddy please apply https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue on Facebook if your already pre-approved! ##2018836##

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. We transport to most state across the country.  Thank you for looking. If interested, please submit an application on our website at www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 23, 2024, 6:45 pm

Story
ADOPTED!!! This cute little nugget is Henry.  He is 3 years old and weighs 10 pounds and will not get any bigger.  Henry is a sweetheart, loves to cuddle and he is a quiet Chihuahua.  You hardly know that he is there.  He gets along with all of the other foster dogs in the home big and small.  And he is okay with cats. He walks well on a leash and does not get car sick.  Henry would love to snuggle up with you and be your best buddy.  He is very low maintenance on a daily basis.  He has been medically vetted and his medical records come with him at the time of adoption. Story
This guy cracks his foster mom up.  Although he is playful with the other foster dogs in the home, Calvin acts as if he is the stepdad to everyone.  He does not tolerate any fussing among the dogs as he thinks he is the only one that can do the fussing.  He can be grouchy sometimes.  He still loves to be held and cuddle up next to you for some love. Calvin is 3 years old and 15 pounds.  We are not sure what he is mixed up but he will not grow anymore.  This touch guy is a heartworm survivor.  We pulled Calvin from our city's very high kill shelter when no one wanted him because he was heartworm positive.  His foster mom is glad she pulled him and saved his life as he has been a good houseguest.  He has successfully gone through 2 treatments to get rid of those pesky heartworms.  Calvin is ready for his own home now so he can be the boss.  He walks well on a leash and  does not get car sick.  I will try to get some better pictures of him from his foster mom and hopefully a video to share but I wanted to get him posted so he can find a home where he does not have to share all of the love. If you are interested in Calvin, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! This little guy is a softee in touch and feelings.  His temperament is great, he gets along with all of his foster siblings big and small.  He is potty trained but I let him out often so he does not have an accident but I cannot guarantee that in a new environment with a different schdule, he may have accidents.  But right now he loves to run out the back door when it is time to go potty. OLIVER is a 4 month old long hair Chihuahua mix but I am not sure what he is mixed with.  This poor guy has already been through some rough times as someone abandoned him at a grocery store all by himself.  Luckily a vet tech at the Animal Hosptial that I go to saw him and rescued him.  He weighs 5 pounds and no doubt will stay a little dog as an adult. He is super playful but a very quiet little guy, not a barker at all.  He plays with toys and loves treats.  I will try to get better pictures and a video of him. Hi everyone, I'm Lily! I traveled here all the way from Texas. I am an 11 month old chihuahua mix. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. I reside in a foster home with other dogs small and large. I walk well on a leash, love to sleep in bed at night, and ride well in the car. Story
*This dog is fostered in Hamilton, ON* Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Little Milo was found as a stray with another small dog. He was never claimed and was welcomed into our rescue. Milo is a snuggley boy that just wants to loved. The quickest way to his heart is through his belly.. he loves treats - blueberries are his favourite. His favourite way to spend an evening is cuddled up on your lap watching TV. He also does great with the 2 cats in his foster home and is also fostered with a medium-sized dog, around 40lb. He follows his foster brother around a lot, but even though he is a tiny dude he will attempt to assert dominance over him, mostly in the form of humping. We are hopeful that this will subside after his neuter. Despite enjoying a (tolerant) doggie sibling in the home Milo is leash reactive on walks. He will bark, spin and lunge when he sees other dogs, so this will need further training. Although Milo is a tiny dog, he will need an owner who will NOT caudle him. He has displayed some mild fear reactivity which will only get worse if his new family doesn't provide him with the structure and guidance that he needs. With the right leadership, Milo will learn to be confident and become a very well-rounded member of the home. Milo will build a strong bond with his people and is sure to be a loving addition to the home!Name: MiloWeight: ~6lbAge: ~2 yearsGender: MaleBreed: ChihuahuaColour: BlackMedical: No concerns Fixed: Yes - April 09 Good with men: YesGood with women: YesGood with kids 0-11: No - he is an anxious little dude and can be reactive if scaredGood with kids 12+ Yes, as long as they are respectful that he can be fearful Good with dogs: Good with small dogs to medium dogs, shows some fear/anxiety with bigger dogs - we think that he may thrive as an only dog. Story
Name: MochaAge: 3/3/19 (5 years old) Sex: Spayed FemaleWeight: 30 lbsBreed: Pomsky Hi, my name is Mocha and I’m a Pomsky. I’m a puppy mill survivor so please be patient with me as I am taking time to learn new habits and am still learning to go potty outside. I do not like to be on a leash so I have not been able to go on a walk. I do like to explore and play outside though so I need someone with a fenced yard so I can explore off a leash. I am a very happy girl that likes to be near humans at all times and get very sad when left alone. I really enjoy laying down on the couch and being pet. I am just starting to play with toys and I really enjoy tennis balls. I am good with other dogs and children. Overall I am excitable but still relatively low energy for a dog so I would love to be adopted by someone that spends a lot of time at home since I get very sad and anxious when left alone. I will need a surgery post adoption (the cost will be covered by the rescue) that will require follow up care. My foster parents will discuss specifics with applicants upon approval.  If you are interested in adopting Mocha please apply at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved ##1997596##

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! This is a beautiful boy who is just the best little thing.  He only weighs 16 pounds and the vet has guestimated his age to be 2 years old.  RIO was dumped at an elementary school of which my girlfriend is a teacher.  She called me that people had just dumped him. RIO came into my home with the best manners, quiet and obedient.  He sticks really close to me but does not get in the way.  2 of the male foster dogs bark at him but he does not react, he retreats and ignores them.  RIO does not have a bad bone in his body, no aggression anywhere.  He is housetrained and pottytrained.  He hates going into the crate which I use sparingly.  I put him in the crate yesterday to take him to be neutered and he had a fit.  He really is trustworthy around the house when I am gone. RIO likes to cuddle with me while I am watching TV on the couch.  He walks very well on the leash without pulling and rides in the car without getting sick.  If you are interested in adopted RIO please submit an application on the website below. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
