Little Milo was found as a stray with another small dog. He was never claimed and was welcomed into our rescue. Milo is a snuggley boy that just wants to loved. The quickest way to his heart is through his belly.. he loves treats - blueberries are his favourite. His favourite way to spend an evening is cuddled up on your lap watching TV. He also does great with the 2 cats in his foster home and is also fostered with a medium-sized dog, around 40lb. He follows his foster brother around a lot, but even though he is a tiny dude he will attempt to assert dominance over him, mostly in the form of humping. We are hopeful that this will subside after his neuter. Despite enjoying a (tolerant) doggie sibling in the home Milo is leash reactive on walks. He will bark, spin and lunge when he sees other dogs, so this will need further training. Although Milo is a tiny dog, he will need an owner who will NOT caudle him. He has displayed some mild fear reactivity which will only get worse if his new family doesn't provide him with the structure and guidance that he needs. With the right leadership, Milo will learn to be confident and become a very well-rounded member of the home. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. This guy cracks his foster mom up.  Although he is playful with the other foster dogs in the home, Calvin acts as if he is the stepdad to everyone.  He does not tolerate any fussing among the dogs as he thinks he is the only one that can do the fussing.  He can be grouchy sometimes.  He still loves to be held and cuddle up next to you for some love. Calvin is 3 years old and 15 pounds.  We are not sure what he is mixed up but he will not grow anymore.  This touch guy is a heartworm survivor.  We pulled Calvin from our city's very high kill shelter when no one wanted him because he was heartworm positive.  His foster mom is glad she pulled him and saved his life as he has been a good houseguest.  He has successfully gone through 2 treatments to get rid of those pesky heartworms.  Calvin is ready for his own home now so he can be the boss.  He walks well on a leash and  does not get car sick.  I will try to get some better pictures of him from his foster mom and hopefully a video to share but I wanted to get him posted so he can find a home where he does not have to share all of the love. This little guy is a softee in touch and feelings.  His temperament is great, he gets along with all of his foster siblings big and small.  He is potty trained but I let him out often so he does not have an accident but I cannot guarantee that in a new environment with a different schdule, he may have accidents.  But right now he loves to run out the back door when it is time to go potty. OLIVER is a 4 month old long hair Chihuahua mix but I am not sure what he is mixed with.  This poor guy has already been through some rough times as someone abandoned him at a grocery store all by himself.  Luckily a vet tech at the Animal Hosptial that I go to saw him and rescued him.  He weighs 5 pounds and no doubt will stay a little dog as an adult. He is super playful but a very quiet little guy, not a barker at all.  He plays with toys and loves treats.  I will try to get better pictures and a video of him.
