Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet George, the ultimate cuddle connoisseur and outdoor explorer! At 11 years young and 21 pounds, George may be a senior pup, but he's still got plenty of love and adventure left in him. This charming Chihuahua is the epitome of sweetness, with a calm demeanor and a heart full of love for his person. He is currently on a weight loss journey with lots of gentle exercise and a high-quality diet. One of his favorite pastimes? Lounging beside you for some quality cuddle time, pawing at your leg when he wants a lift into your arms—adorable, right? George may be a bit cautious around new people at first, but once he warms up, he's all snuggles and smiles. He's a pro at leash walking, making him the perfect companion for leisurely strolls around the neighborhood or on nature trails. Plus, he's a great travel buddy, enjoying car rides and quietly exploring his surroundings. While he may prefer the company of a female owner (his owner had to go to assisted living), George's heart is big enough to welcome anyone who's ready to give him the love and attention he deserves. He seems friendly to cats and will tolerate other dogs but prefers to do his own thing with his people. If you're searching for a loyal cuddle bug and walking companion, look no further—George is ready to steal your heart and be your new best friend! Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 17, 2024, 6:16 pm
