Story
Hello, kind human. My name is Oliver and I am a 9 year old 22lb ChiWeenie. What’s a ChiWeenie you ask? It’s a wonderful mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund. The kind folks at Forever Loved took me right in from a shelter where I was struggling with all the chaos that goes along with lots and lots of scared and homeless dogs. Right away I was scooped into the loving arms of a foster home and by the end of the first day, I was already starting to blossom. My foster mom says that I am a happy guy and I have a fun, relaxed personality. I love car rides and enjoy looking out while we travel together. I’ve had my teeth cleaned and my bloodwork came back great. I would absolutely love to be in a home where you aren’t gone 10 hours a day because I like to hang out near my favorite humans. I take just a minute to warm up to strangers, and I thrive in a calm and quiet lifestyle, so if there are children in any prospective home, I’d love for them to be respectful of me and know that I’m not a stuffed toy. Did I mention that I am house trained? I am, but I prefer grass or turf and I like it when you come outside with me and keep me company.

Story
Lucy is 2 and 1/2 years old will be three August. Lucy is a lover loves to snuggle and cuddle and very playful. She gets attached usually to the female in the home and will bark if anybody else comes into the house once they come in she will stop she knows her voice and isn't afraid to use it she's a protector. She's potty trained on pee pads in the house we don't allow her outside much because we have javelina, coyotes, and Elk. I work in another town several days a week and not home much this is the main reason why I need to rehome Lucy. I feel that she would be best in a home with no small children because Lucy likes to run play and jump and I'm afraid that she will get hurt running and playing with the little with the little kids. She is up to date on all of her shots and is neutered. I think Lucy would do best in a home with one person. She would make a fantastic companion dog for an older adult.

Story
Please NOTE: Mandy barks at men. ABOUT MANDY: We estimate Mandy to be around 10 years old and she weighs about 11 lbs. We got her teeth cleaned, updated her shots and microchip information. Then we did a pre-op blood panel. Mandy is in tip-top shape. Her foster mom says she is housetrained but we rarely guarantee this. PERSONALITY: At first, Mandy may act scared and sulk for a couple of days. However, after she decides you are OK, she wants to be part of the fun. She likes to play ball, but is reluctant to give it back. Mandy likes to sleep right up next to you in bed, so if you don't want a dog in your bed. Please re-think Mandy as you choice for a life-partner. Mandy loves her toys, preferably a stuffed toy. She carries it around like her baby to keep it baby safe and clean. Mandy will bark at newcomers, until properly introduced. She ignores the cats and joins the fun with the other comparable size dogs. Mandy would be a perfect companion for a Retired Gentle Lady. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We do NOT adopt to out-of area or out of state locations. ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on shots. Full blood panel/Valley Fever/Tick Fever/Heartworm testing is NOT customarily done, unless veterinary suggested RoRescue is an all-volunteer based organization. We all have full time jobs and families, as well as multiple rescue dogs needing our attention. Our job is to match the right dog to the right adopter, trying to meet the needs of both. This is a difficult job, Please be considerate.
