Sophie is an 8 year old, 60lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. Kesha is the sweetest little puppy who is perfect for hugs and cuddles, and always ready for belly rubs!  She enjoys playing with other dogs, but wants to be near her people when not busy playing.  Being a sensitive girl, she will require a patient family who will train with positive reinforcement and make her feel like a special part of the family.  Although we don't know her breed type, we feel confident she will make a fantastic family dog with her kind and gentle nature.April 25, 2024, 11:10 am

Dollie is a sweetie. Always close by and ready to get her head scratched. Super friendly and chill. I don't think she'd been on to many car rides so she might need some more practice. It didn't appear that she'd gone up or down many flights of stairs when we got her, but she's a pro now! Great on a leash, comes when she's called. She's part Collie and part Husky--has those gorgeous Husky eyes. Her fur also seems more Husky-like than Collie-like. No guarantees but I don't think she sheds much--not like our Collies! She gets along great with our other 2 dogs. Hasn't been around cats to my knowledge but she's very laid back, so I'd expect she'd do fine. Couldn't find a friendlier dog!  She is currently going through heartworm treatment but we are taking applications for her, for when she is finished.
