Story
Reba is a 6 yrs. old redbone coonhound. She will bring a smile and joy to your life the minute you meet her. She is very loving, funny and above all smart as a whip. She is house trained, doggie door trained and loves her bed and blanket. She does not jump on you or the furniture. She has very good manners. She loves to be close to her family and watches out for them. She sleeps right next to her foster mom at night on a special comfortable bed. She would do best as the only one, or with a calm older dog. She is still learning to trust and needs time to get to know you. Reba needs to strengthen her hip muscles. When she was younger she was not given the exercise she needed for her hip muscles to be strong, but they will improve with time and exercise. She loves to lay in the sun and will bury a bone and keep it for later. She knows right where she put it. She has been vetted and is spayed, UTD on shots and overall in good health. She loves to eat as most hounds do. She will be there whenever you need her. If you have ever had a hound dog you know what I mean. They are very much in tune with your feelings and will bring comfort when you need it. If you need a special companion to be with you at all times, Reba is the one. She is waiting to meet you and take care of you. Please contact: Ella at ellas.beagles@gmail.com or go to unitedanimalfriends.org and fill out the matchmaker form. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott Az area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!

Story
Hey, I'm Cozy!I'm a sweet, wiggly girl looking for my furever family to go home to! I have a big personality to show you! Going on lots of walks and hikes would be a great way for us to bond! I have a lot of energy and a hard time controlling my excitement sometimes, so I will need continued training to help me be on my best behavior. Due to my vision impairment, I would do best in a dog savvy home with no young children. I can be nervous about meeting new dogs, so make sure to bring in any dog siblings for a meet and greet. Come on down and meet me!No appointment necessary!Meet me at AAWL's Main Shelter!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.
