Poppy is an estimated 11 year old, Coonhound mix who was brought to our shelter after spending most of her life outside in a kennel behind an abandoned burnt down cabin. Upon arrival to our shelter Poppy was taken to be seen by our vet's office. Unfortunately, the news from the medical team was not as expected. Poppy had a large tumor on her spleen that required removal, and two large mammary tumors were also identified, resulting in lumpectomies. Post-surgery, Poppy's chest x-ray looked clear, and we are now awaiting biopsy results. Lilly is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Meet Jessie Belle! She is a 6 year old Redbone Coonhound who recently lost her family. Jessie Belle is a very sweet and chill old lady who is looking for a retirement home. She would do best in a home with older children and a family who like to hang at the house. She is good with dogs and cats. She is up to date on her annual vaccines, 4DX negative, microchipped and spayed. She is overall a really great dog.  If you would like to apply to adopt Jessie, you must be over 21 years old and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
