Story
Gus is a typical puppy He loves to play and LOVES other dogs. He enjoys sitting on the couch with you. Gus is completely housebroken, and is a funny happy little guy. He would do best in a home with  older respectful children. Gus life before coming to PAR was living  in a back yard.  He was never taught that love and affection were part of the daily life. But he is learning to trust and be an inside dog. The ideal home for Gus is a patient loving family that will help him feel secure and learn to be the best dog he can be. If this sounds like it might be you, don’t hesitate to apply to meet Gus! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##1938232##

Story
Bella is a sweet girl looking for a loving home. She is about 11 months old, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. Bella's Mother was a big dog but we are guessing dad was smaller as she is only 20 pounds. Bella can get very attached to her person and loves to be loved on. Now all she needs is her furever home!

Story
Arya is a 5 year old mixed breed. Unsure about what type of breeds but she has a body build similar to a corgi. She is defensive about people and other dogs, but will warm up to people given enough time and is very affectionate once she does. She is fairly low energy often choosing to spend most of her time being a couch potato. Reason we are rehoming is because we have an 8m old son at home and some of her displacement has us worried that she may bite him, as she is resource and food defensive, as he is getting more and more mobile. She has two medical conditions that we have stabilized 1) Addisons disease: Her adrenal glands do not work, she takes two daily medications 2) She has kidney disease, likely caused by the medication, though this is being controlled with a prescription diet. We believe she would do best in a home without kids, we have two other dogs at home that she gets along with, but are unsure how another home with dogs would be
