Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Corky is a 2yo Corgi , who loves attention. He is just starting to play with toys. Gets along well with other dogs if they don't try to dominate him. He needs work with a harness and leash. Be careful reaching behind him, to put on the leash. Let him know what your doing. His breeder, it's apparent was not nice to him, he can be skiddish with certain things. He needs to learn he's safe and to learn to trust his family. If your sitting he will be right there to be pet, and he will put his paws on you or the chair for more attention. He so far is a very low key guy energy wise, but he is a corgi that may change they are herding dogs. He will make a very sweet family member with time and patience. Corky is being fostered in BuffaloCorky's adoption donation is $600

Story
Meet this extraordinary pup! He's the epitome of friendliness, readily welcoming pets, lifts, and cuddles from anyone, including strangers. Despite losing his vision, he remains a bundle of joy, eagerly greeting every dog he encounters. His sense of smell compensates for his lack of sight, and he's thrilled to explore and play with dogs of all sizes and ages. Even in the face of aggression, he won't back down, valiantly defending himself without being aggressive himself. This sweet pup thrives on companionship and may become sensitive to sound when left alone. His puppy energy is boundless, and he relishes walks, park adventures, and playing with squeaky toys—especially his beloved ball. Food is a passion for him, and he's not hesitant to bark if he needs something. While he may develop separation anxiety due to his strong reliance on companionship, early training can help him build independence. With patience and guidance, he'll quickly adapt to new environments, making him an ideal addition to any loving family. Don't miss the chance to welcome this adorable, energetic, and cuddly pup into your home! Rescue story: This heartwarming tale begins with a pup who likely once had a loving family but found himself abandoned on the unforgiving streets. Thankfully, fate intervened when a compassionate rescuer spotted him and made the decision to offer him a lifeline. Story
Introducing Hattu, the adorable farm pup with a heart of gold, rescued from a life tied to a chain and now ready to find his forever home through international adoption! At first, Hattu might seem a tad shy, but with just a bit of patience and space, he blossoms into your ultimate sidekick within 3-7 days. Despite his initial timidity, Hattu melts hearts by happily allowing strangers to shower him with pets and even carry him around like a furry prince! This sweet boy gets along swimmingly with other dogs, preferring to coexist rather than initiate play. Even when faced with curious stray cats, Hattu's gentle nature shines through as he calmly follows his handler without a hint of mischief. With a moderate energy level, Hattu enjoys outdoor walks but transforms into a laid-back cuddle bug indoors. Sure, he might pull on the leash out of sheer excitement, but he quickly heed his handler's guidance with unwavering obedience. Resource guarding? Not in Hattu's vocabulary! This lovable pup happily shares his toys and treats with everyone, furry friends included. And when nature calls or his tummy rumbles, a polite bark signals his needs, quickly quieting down when his handler says "no." Travelling in the car? No problem for Hattu! He's a pro in his crate, finding comfort and security on the go. While he's flexible with indoor and outdoor potty routines for now, Hattu's eager to settle into a consistent outdoor routine once his walking schedule is set. But here's the real secret to Hattu's heart—cozy blankets and, of course, FOOD! If you're ready to be his best friend and share in all his adorable antics, Hattu is waiting with open paws to join your family and fill your life with love and laughter. Story
My name is Haram, and I'm a 1-year-old Welsh Corgi mix girl. I found myself in the City shelter just before facing the sad fate of euthanasia, but lucky for me, I got rescued and now I'm eagerly waiting for my forever family. Although I can't see because my optic nerves didn't fully develop, I'm a super affectionate girl who loves people and craves attention from everyone, even strangers! I might seem a bit reserved at first with new dogs because I can't see them, but once we get acquainted, I'm ready to play and have fun. I do have a playful streak, but I can also be a bit protective if another dog tries to provoke me, so introductions should be handled with care. However, with proper socialization, I can get along just fine with furry friends. I'm an expert at going on walks! While I may not be able to see the sights, I rely on my other senses and enjoy exploring new places. Walking in familiar areas makes me feel secure and content, and I'll happily trot along beside you, enjoying the fresh air. After our walks, I love nothing more than to snuggle up and relax. Oh, and when it comes to potty training, I'm a star! I'm equally good at using indoor pads and doing my business outside. Because I can't see, I'm a bit sensitive to loud noises, but with some love and patience, I'll adjust just fine. So, if you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who doesn't let a little thing like not being able to see get in the way of enjoying life, then I'm your girl!
