So there we were, living in a home... when BAM! One day the family up and MOVES WITHOUT US!!! We had NO IDEA what was happening! No Dear John letter, no food and water left for us, nowhere to go and no one to take care of us..... WELP, the MOVERS took us in!! I mean, that was amazing! So we got to the rescue because hardworking moving men cared enough about us to save us and find us a rescue!! Now we are loving life in our foster home, our foster family is SO COOL! Lots of excitement, fun people to meet and all kinds of shade/playtime! We are dachshund mixed pups, all different colors but lowriders for sure :) Our mom is the sweetest and most FUN mom! She seems to be a puppy herself! Adopt one of us and give us the chance to write our next BEST chapter as a beloved member of your family!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Look at my markings, I am a low rider Dachshund with markings that make me look thinner, right?? So much time spent looking for the perfect angle to make my hips look smaller and then I get pregnant and BAM! Hips will never be the same :( However, I have some beautiful pups looking for furever families like yours and let me tell you- they look nothing like me!! And of course, they don't listen to what i tell them because, kids always know better than their parents!! All dogs have age appropriate vaccines including Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies. All dogs are/will be spayed or neutered, and wormed for parasites. Older puppies and adults are tested for heartworms and treated if found to be positive. NovaStar is a 501C3 non-profit rescue that receives no monetary help from local, state or federal entities. All adoption fees go straight to our vets to help pay for the veterinary care and other expenses related to the care of all the dogs in the rescue. Other than adoption fees, NovaStar is financed exclusively by donations and an occasional grantAdoption fees vary by age/breed.  Contact us about reduced adoption fees on dogs that have been long term rescue residents!!Transport is available from Arkansas with stops in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, NY, NJ, and Connecticut. Transport fee is $150.*** ALL FIELDS on application must be filled out. Incomplete applications will result in an automatic denial. Your current pets must be spayed/neutered and on heartworm preventative, verifiable by your vet. Please contact your vet's office and give permission for a NovaStar representative to speak with them.
