Sid 💗 5 mos old Dachshund Hi there! They say I am the full package. I like to play with my brother and humans, when I see a lap, I can’t help but dive right in, regardless if I’m ready to settle down or not. I enjoy my chew toys, and I love my food, sometimes I try to steal my brother’s food too since he’s a little slower, and I absolutely love to be around humans! I can play but I’ll let you know when I’m ready for a lie down or want a cuddle. The world is still a bit unknown to me and when I’m scared, I prefer to seek safety with my human. I’m learning house rules pretty quick and already know grass is for potty. I’d like to be with a family that will play with me and let me curl up on the couch, I have lots of energy and love to share! I would do well being adopted with or without my brother. I’d like to go to a family with doxie experience please who will treat me as a family member. I’d love it if my family continued my training so I can be the best version of myself for everyone. My rescue also says they’d like my new family to get me pet insurance since I am a Doxy we are known for sometimes having back issues and hopefully I’d never need to use it but it would make my rescue feel better! Sully 💗 5 mos old Dachshund Hello! I may be small but I’ll be the first to jump up and protect my brother or human against any loud or scary sounds. I enjoy my food but eat a little slower than my brother, treats are nice but not my priority, my priority is being able to see and be near my human. I do love to fetch and follow my human around. I may not jump into your lap right away but I when I do curl up, I’ll stay with you as long as you want. I’m still learning house rules but I know I’ll get it! I love to be held, loved, cuddled, and played with. I especially love rolling on my back for belly rubs. Loves to play with his foster siblings and mostly loves being snuggled, he will lay with you and cuddle! Great with kids, loves to hang out on the couch.
