Buster is the sweetest little guy!! He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He weighs approximately 24 pounds and 10 years old. Buster is great with other dogs, loves to nap and enjoys lounging in a human lap. He is house broken for the most part, though will tend to "mark" if another male dog goes potty in the house. Italian Doxies, also known as Italian Greyhound Dachshund Mixes, are a delightful blend of two popular breeds: the Italian Greyhound and the Dachshund. This unique mix results in a dog that possesses the best qualities of both breeds, making them an excellent companion for dog owners of all kinds.   This 10 pound 4 month old playful baby boy is a happy guy who loves playing with other dogs and good with kids and cats, too. He is house and dog door trained, leash and kennel trained as well.  He loves going places and meeting new people and dogs.  He will be happiest in a home with another dog or active owner who is home more than not. He will be fine in an apartment or house setting   His stubby tail is always wagging!  Jude is one of the "Musical Litter" puppies born on December 24, 2023. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.   For pups this age must be home more than not.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##1948911##
