Story
This sweet boy is a social butterfly, always ready to show off his belly for those coveted belly rubs, even with new friends. When it comes to doggy introductions, Bebe is a gentle greeter, preferring to make friends with dogs his size. He is not one for rough play and will politely back away from any four-legged friend showing aggression until things calm down. During his encounters with a curious stray cat, Bebe's sniffometer definitely spikes! But, true to his loyal nature, he listens well to her handler's cues to move along. With moderate energy levels, Bebe loves outdoor adventures but transforms into a calm companion indoors, making him the ideal buddy for any occasion. Resource guarding? Not in Bebe's playbook! He is incredibly easy-going, sharing his treasures without a second thought. Mastering the art of leash walking and the fine technique of car entry and exit, Bebe is quite the clever cookie. Plus, his extensive training means he is fluent in a plethora of commands! While Bebe currently does his business both indoors and outdoors, once he settles into a routine, he’ll happily transition to outdoor potty exclusivity. If you're on the lookout for a tender-hearted and intelligent companion, Bebe is the perfect match for you! To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jyd1-1Ak8SH0dp-PVO4byAE

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Rooster is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. This handsome boy was found as a stray running out in the country. He is approximately 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. He will probably weigh in the 60-pound range when fully grown. We are not sure of his breed mixture but think he may have some lab and Doberman in him. Rooster has a great personality and disposition. He loves all of the other rescue dogs, big and small. He loves people and will lie at your feet whenever he can. He loves water and the garden fountain is his favorite spot to hang out and keep cool. Rooster is a very sweet and goofy puppy. He is pretty much house-trained and runs to go outside with his buddies. He will need some leash training and would probably do better with a harness. We have no idea of how he is with cats. Rooster loves to run and play with his dog friends and toys. He may not be suitable for a home with small children because he may knock them over when running and playing. Rooster needs a fully fenced-in and secure yard. He will be a great dog for hiking or going to the dog park. He is an active boy and will run around the yard with a toy in his mouth playing tag with his buddies. He likes to be the leader and have everyone chase him. Rooster would do well either as an only dog or with other dogs.. Rooster is a healthy and happy boy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPP, Bordatella, rabies, canine influenza), and microchipped. He is receiving monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Roosters' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Kent, Arlington, or Bellingham WA. Rooster is fostered by our friends at Shaggy Dog Rescue and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Story
Hi! My name is Nova, and here is a bit about me:Breed: Pharoh Hound/Canaan Dog mixAge: 1.5 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 30 lbsHeight: tbdHighlight(s): Athletic, Outgoing, Sweet, Friendly Even though I’m a young dog, I’ve already had quite an exciting life! I was taken in a few months ago after a really bad human tried to shoot me. I was so scared and confused that I bolted right through a giant bramble bush and as a result, damaged and lost sight in my left eye. The vets have now removedvthat eye, as it wasn't savable, but it doesn’t cause me any discomfort or challenges navigating my world.I think my name should be Supernova, because I’m an explosion of joy and sweetness! I love other dogs, cats, and most of all attention! If you so much as make eye contact with me, we’re automatically best friends forever. But that doesn’t mean I have to be the only star in your sky; I’d love to have a furry sibling or two!In the shelter where I live I make fast friends with everyone who comes into my orbit.Despite my scary start to life, I’m not nervous or shy when it comes to new people, animals, or situations - not even at the vet! So I do not tend to bark at strangers or when seeing new people. All it takes is reaching up my dainty paw to say hello and resting my chin on your lap and you’ll be seeing stars. I’m pretty sure that even in zero gravity, I could convince anyone to fall for me!I’ve got all of the joy and enthusiasm of any puppy my age, so I’m trying really hard to learn how not to take off like a rocket when I’m out for leash walks. Not getting out much right now, makes it hard. Once I get regular outings, this should improve on toning down my jets. Everything is just so new and fun! I would be over the moon to find someone who is similarly adventuresome and looking to experience the joys of discovery with me!I’m still a young girl, so someone who shares my athletic streak would be out of this world! I’m slender, long legged, and built like a desert hound, so I’d probably be an astronomical running partner. My vision loss doesn’t inhibit me one bit, so I’ll be up for any activity you enjoy. I’m ready for take off! Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: unknown Fears: unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: some leash and making progress on house trainingLeash skills: yes. I’m leash and harness trained. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: not really. Difficult to learn in a shelter environment. Please help me learn! Health notes: I am now one-eyed.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1868187##
