Sweet Maddie came to us extremely underweight and seems to have had a bit of a rough start to life. Despite this, she's seeks out and loves attention from her foster mom! Due to her past, Maddie inhales food, and her foster mom is working on her eating habits! She is also a bit of a food thief, so food needs to kept out of her reach! Maddie currently lives with two large dogs and cats. She does fine with the cats, seems to ignore them, but has shown some protective instincts toward her foster mom with the other dogs. For this reason, we feel she'd do best in a home as the only dog. She's has not been aggressive, but has growled a bit at the other dogs. Maddie listens very well and loves car rides! She does not get on furniture, seems to have been trained not to, but loves to curl up at her foster mom's feet for cuddles and pets. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.came with skipper and barbie Ken and his 2 siblings were found on the side of the road where they were dumped.  All 3 were emaciated, weighing less than 40 pounds, and very sick with parvo.   Today, Ken is a happy, healthy boy, one year old.  He's a typical Doberman youngster who loves to run and play hard!  Once he's had his exercise, he will chill out and relax.  He does well in the crate and is learning to walk nicely on leash.  Ken is very smart  and a quick learner. He does well with "sit" and his foster mom is teaching him more commands. He's still a puppy and will grab things to start a game of keep away. Mallory is a pretty red girl, about 3 years old, who was found as a stray.  She's very quiet and still has some of the fear issues when you first meet her, but once she gets to know you she warms up to show that she is a total love bug! She is okay with either a young puppy where she shows her playful side or an old senior that they will just coexist.   Her favorite is  as an only dog, happy to soak up all of your love and affection.  Mallory fixates on cats and won't be a good fit to live with them.  Her foster mom says Mallory has the perfect personality.  She'll do best in an adult-only home. Her trainer says she's a very smart girl who loves to please her humans.  She'll do great with continued training and consistent structure in her day to day life. Mallory is a serial snuggler and wonders why anyway would need personal space.  She is totally content curling up next to you on the couch, or climbing into your lap.  But she's also a young girl that can play her heart out.   Mallory is going to save you lots of money because No Toys or Bones for this girl.    Does Mallory sound like the  perfect dog for you?
