Dennis the menace was a pretty cute kid. Therefore I am cute too! I am an adult, with puppy-like exuberance for life and food! I arrived at the rescue with my wife (Dee Dee) and our kid (Donna) after being left in our backyard when our "family" moved. Can you imagine? I gave them 3 years of devotion, and they just leave me like an old newspaper..... So, enough about my sorted past, let's look at my BRIGHT FUTURE!!! I am a handsome guy, full of love for life. I love female dogs, male dogs are more challenging because I am an alpha sort of dog, with the females I am fine- even dominant females like my Dee Dee. I am a good 60lbs, I'm such a big boy who makes for great cuddles! I am a good protector of your home and my people. I won't let those pesky neighbors over, unless you invite them ;) I have lots of fun running and playing and I would be a great outdoor adventure buddy! Let's get on the trails and go! His birthday is around June of 2020, a pandemic puppy! He came to rescue over two years ago with his deaf sister, Amara.. They had each other but didn't know that humans could communicate with them. Seeing the light bulb come on has been so fun! Angus knows " Come, Kennel Up, and Sit" but everything else, he reads from his foster mom's body language. Angus loves to play outside with his sister and smell all the smells. He loves to have toys so much that he'lloften race inside so he can gather up all the toys (especially from his sister's kennel before we notices) and hoard them in his kennel. He has a wonderful relationship with Amara, his sister. It would be nice if they were adopted them together but it's not required. We ask that he be the only other animal in the home, except for his sister, just because there's a learning curve for other animals about how to make their presence known so deaf dogs aren't "snuck up on". Angus does not have a mean bone in his body but he's a bit of a bull in a China shop kind of boy! He just likes to run fast and slide through his turns! A fenced in yard is required so Angus can be free to explore and smell all the smells. This boy will steal your heart the minute you meet him. Hi! My name is Ramona. I am SO snuggly and friendly. I haven’t met anyone yet that I don’t want to give a hug to I have the cutest underbite that melts hearts. I’m gentle, smart, and good with all other dogs I’ve met. I’m so very soft and petting me is amazing.Some of my favorite things to do include:-Standing super close to my foster mom’s face and waiting for snuggles.-I love to jump up on the couch with my foster family and cuddle. I don’t take up much room but I love to sit really close to you.-I love treats and I am learning from the other dogs to sit and wait my turn.-I love to play with toys and go explore outside in the yard.-I love playing with my pup friends and other foster dog brother. It’s so fun to run around the yard and play chase with them. I’m silly and think it’s fun to throw toys around and pounce on them! I’m finding sticks to be fun too! I do like to sneak shoes or things I shouldn’t, but I am easily redirected!I am housetrained and do a good job of going outside. I live with other pups in my foster home so I go out often!I haven’t had much experience walking on a leash yet but do pretty well. It will take some patience from loving humans to build trust with that part, but I’m sure I’ll do great! It helps when I walk along with a pup friend.I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family isn’t home. I go in happily with a treat and love my cozy bed. I love seeing humans in the mornings and greeting my dog friends when we get up for the day! I am an early riser but I’m working on sleeping later.Overall, I’m a fun, silly, affectionate, and playful pup. I will be such a sweet addition to just the right family! Hi, I'm Jolee! I'm a sweet, loving dog and I am so happy to be here in Minnesota with a foster family! I was found on the side of the road in Alabama and I'd been hit by a car. The wonderful people at the rescue took care of me until I was healthy enough to come to MN!I am a beautiful dog with sweet, loving eyes. I am housetrained! And I walk well on a leash. I get to go for a walk or hike every day here and I love it! It's fun to smell new things and I walk nicely along with my foster Mom the whole time. I am doing well with kennel training. I sleep in there quietly all night and wait nicely in the morning until it’s time to get out. I also am in there during the work day and I don't like that as much but I'm adjusting. I love affection and I will cuddle right up next to (or onto you) to get pets. I am good with other dogs. I've met a few in my time here and have gotten along well with all of them. I love to run, chase and play with other dogs but the resident dog here doesn't like to play much and I'm respectful of that. I can be very fast and I like to chase balls and run around the yard. Right now, I would do best with a fenced-in yard because I am not used to doing my business while on leash, but my foster mom is helping me learn that its an okay thing to do... stay tuned!I have a lot of love to give and I cannot wait to find my forever family!
