Story
Hi! My name is Blizzard. I am a 55-pound, 1-year-old Dogo Argentino mix. Sounds cool doesn't it! The only bummer part is that up to 25% of all of us are born deaf or have hearing loss, including me. (Watch the video linked in my bio!) I am an ahh-mazing happy go lucky guy who gets along with everyone, from kids to adults to small dogs to big dogs to kitties. I was in a boarding and training facility for a while, where I learned how to sit, stay, come, and lay down - all with hand commands! I walk pretty well on a leash, too. Now I'm in a foster home, and am basically the perfect house guest, other than I can't hear when they call me for dinner. I can keep my crate clean over night for about 8 hours but do need a potty break after that. I'm looking for an active family who can match my energy and who has a fenced in yard. This is super important because if I get loose, I won't hear you calling me to come back home. A fence will keep me contained and make sure I can always find my way back to you. Are you ready to welcome some spring snow in the form of me, Blizzard, into your home? All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
