Marley has been a great pet. She is a beautiful and loving cat. She got along very well with two of our former dogs, but now we have a one-year-old Golden Retriever that is making her life miserable. She hides, and is pretty grumpy. Additionally, my husband and son are allergic, and have been tolerant for 6 years but are growing more and more uncomfortable with their allergies. And, we have starting traveling quite a bit more and Marley is even more sad. Because of the puppy and our travel schedule, she has started peeing on the basement carpet. She also has an odd and sporadic behavior of rubbing up against your leg, wanting to be pet, then without warning deciding to give one quick bite - not strong enough to break the skin, but startling and annoying. We love Marley very much, and she does love to sit in your lap and be pet (even purrs and drools a little), and my hope is that if she could find a home where she would get more attention, she would be much happier and kinder.

Lotus is a very loving and friendly cat - she loves being around other cats and playing with them a lot but will also do well with a cat-free owner. My only suggestion for that latter would be to play with her for at least 15 minutes per day so she doesn't get bored. Once she finds a person she likes, she likes to be near that person a lot - she'll be a companion that will give you love and warmth while you work from home or just watch TV. If you're bored, you can try talking to her and she'll talk back almost every time. We're rehoming her because our other cat, Bella, has a fear of other cats and prefers to be alone, so we'd like to give Lotus a home so she and Bella can both be happier and more fulfilled.
