Story
Hi Facebook Friends!! They call me Ninja … I’m a laid back cat looking for a laid back family. Unfortunately I was brought to the shelter because I decided to go exploring but then my owners never came back for me. I’m not a fan of other animals but enjoy my attention from humans. I like to explore so I jump from counters to floors effortlessly. If you’re looking for a buddy to hangout with everyday I’m your guy! Contact the shelter to set up a meet and greet! ✌️, Ninja ✨Aged by vet between 2-3 years ✨Male - altered ✨Not good with other cats or dogs ✨Recommend with older children ✨Fully Vetted and Microchipped

Story
Hi my name is Vinny!! I was adopted as a sibling for my 10 year old sister. She doesn’t want to play with me & wishes I would leave her alone. I’m a playful, funny, affectionate young cat.I love playing with my wand but I also love napping next to mom. I have a stuffed toy I carry around & play with. Vinny is a 1 1/2 yr old young boy. He is awesome. His nose looks like a little black heart.🖤 That’s what I love most about him!!!. His markings are striking. Gets along with other cats & dogs. But would prefer a calmer home with just cats. Older children would be better as he hasn’t been with younger kids. My female cat has only known her 2 sisters that pasted away. She obviously hates other cats.

Story
*Goldie and Rod are a BONDED PAIR* *UNDERSOCIALZED - WILL REQUIRE SPECIAL ADOPTER* Goldie and her bro bro, Rod, were rescued from a Southfield yard as part of a litter, in the summer of 2021. Goldie and Rod have been been in a loving foster home learning how to trust humans. Their foster mom has done a wonderful job of helping them feel safe and loved. They love to snuggle up on the bed with their foster mom at night and lounge on the couch with her during the day. Goldie and Rod also love to watch tv - especially bird tv! With the consistent love and patience of their foster mama, they have blossomed into increasingly confident and social kitties. They LOVE LOVE LOVE sitting by the open window, feeling the breeze on their whiskers. Rod loves to chirp and chatter. Goldie enjoys stealing Q-tips from her foster mama's stash; she plucks one out, throws it around and comes back to pluck more. Goldie also enjoys batting a ball back and forth with her foster mama on her favorite ball tower toy. Goldie and Rod both go cuckoo for the squeeze treats and that has been one of the best ways to engage and build trust and adoration with them. They are searching for their FUREVER happy ending together and will be a great pair for a hooman that can provide devotion and patience for a couple of kitties that got a challenging start. Please apply to meet them today! Adoption fee: $250 for the pair. ##1167459##

Story
Meet beautiful Hunk!  His name says it all.  Hunk and several cats were removed from a Ferndale home in April 2023. Unfortunately he was not living in good conditions before and didn't get a lot of love.  It's amazing how much he has bloomed in foster, and he is a testament to how forgiving cats are and how much love can make a big difference.  He hid at first but he has really come out of his shell, realizing that being brushed, petted, and being loved is pretty incredible! He was living with about 40 other cats in the original home, and he is in a foster home with 2 other kitties.  He isn't bothered by other cats at all, so we think he would do well in a home with or without other kitties.  He seems to enjoy his independence so he might be fine by himself too. He definitely loves attention, and would love to find a home where he can get a lot of love.  He is still a little skittish at noises or quick approaches, but he will come to you and ask for love.  He deserves the best home who will allow him to continue to bloom and enjoy a long happy life.   Hank is up to date on shots, neutered, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, and he is microchipped.  He is a stunning floof with a whole lot of love to give.  Due to his past trauma, we think he would do best in a quiet home without dogs or small children, since he startles easily and has never been around either.  His adoption fee is $150. Please complete an application to meet him at his forster home in Ferndale.   ##1681559##

Story
Sesame was found in a feral colony at about 3 months old. She is very shy at first, so she needs an adopter who is willing to be patient while she learns to trust them. Once she comes out of her shell, she is a purr machine who loves head scratches and snuggles. If you think you can give this little banshee a loving home, please fill out an application! ##455829##

Story
Cheddar is an absolute love and a very special boy.  He was an owner surrender to the Humane Society of Monroe County in December 2022, and then he was adopted out in January of 2023.  He was returned to their shelter and was there for a couple of months before they reached out to us for help.  He was said to have some special needs and neurologic problems.  He was not eating a lot and was not doing well living in a cage.  We were very happy to help him and take him into foster. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.   He loves to play and loves attention.  He is doing really well and doesn't seem to have many neurological deficits.  He gets around fine and gets up and down stairs, and gets into the bed fine.  He seeks out his foster mom wherever she is and wants nothing but love.  His eyes skew out a little to the side but his vision seems to be really well.   He was returned for not using the litterbox, but once we found a litterbox he likes to use, he is using it great.  He is a little particular with food but he loves Weruva BFF food.   He is a very sweet and social boy.  We aren't sure if he would do well with another kitty, as he gets irritated with the other cat in his foster home.  He didn't seem to be bothered by other cats in the shelter so he may do ok with another mellow cat with slow introductions.   Adoption fee: $150 ##1773737##
