Story
Meet Scarlett! This girl is friendly and affectionate. She enjoys affection, but normally on her own terms. In her spare time, you`ll often find her napping in warm, sunny spots or playing with feather toys and crinkle balls. She is still adjusting to things here and hasn`t shown us her full personality but with time and lots of love she will shine through!- 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for FIV &FeLV- She can take time to adjust, so slow introductions are best for her comfort.- Enjoys pets on the face, chin, and back- Has co-existed peacefully with a respectful small dog- Cat companion approved! Enjoys the company of other catsMeet Scarlett at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt.

Story
Meet Binx! DOB: 3-21-2019Sometimes life takes unexpected turns, but through it all, Binx remains a gentle soul in need of a loving home. Despite finding himself at the shelter through no fault of his own, this sweet 5-year-old feline is ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and warmth.Binx`s journey began when his owner was unable to keep him in their apartment, leading to his surrender to our care. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for a cat accustomed to the comfort of a home and family, but beneath his initial shyness lies a heart full of sweetness waiting to be discovered. While Binx may be a bit reserved at first, a few gentle pets and some tasty treats are all it takes to reveal his true nature. Although he prefers to be the only pet in the household, Binx has experience living with small children and has proven to be a gentle companion even with younger human siblings around. If you`re ready to open your heart and home to Binx, don`t hesitate to apply online at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, our staff will be delighted to schedule your very own personal appointment to meet Binx and welcome him into his loving forever home.Let`s ensure Binx finds the loving home he so deserves. Apply now and take the first step toward providing him with the comfort and companionship he longs for!

Story
Don`t let her fluff fool you. Blair is still a kitten with years of adventure and excitement ahead of her. Blair is a sweet girl who will give big purrs when being pet. She tends to be a more mild kitten who takes a cautious approach but will play once she has had time to settle in. Blaire loves to cuddle with her bonded companion Milton. We paired her up with Milton, an older cat who loves attention and is confident meeting new people and once they were together they became inseperable. Milton is teaching Blair how great humans are and she’s made great progress. These two sweethearts are a perfect matching tuxedo pair. Milton is on a life long diet of Royal Canin HP and a once daily medication for his allergies. Fill out an application to meet these two amazing cats!
