Story
Hunter is a quiet, sweet, and very handsome 8 year old male cat that is bonded with his sister Scamp. Hunter and Scamp have been together since birth and would be too upset getting separated after 7 years together. Scamp is the more confident out of the two and Hunter follows his sister's lead on how to be a cat. These two lovely felines would love a quiet, respectful home that they can get daily yummies and love. Because they are a bonded pair, the fee to adopt Hunter and Scamp is only $50! **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a cardboard pet carrier, and a free veterinary visit. If you live in Lincoln County and have dogs in the home, they must be licensed in Lincoln County (requires current rabies vaccination). Scamp is a sweet, snuggly, and happy 8 year old female cat that is bonded with her brother Hunter. Scamp has a cute, unique wink that is from an old injury that doesn't cause her any pain but does result in a little discharge now and then. Hunter and Scamp have been together since birth and would be too upset getting separated after 8 years together. Scamp is the more confident out of the two and Hunter follows his sister's lead on how to be a cat. Meet Hiro!! Hiro is a very sweet boy, and so handsome. He can be very shy and will need time to adjust to any new home--after that he is super affectionate. He needs a home with older cat savvy children. He is super active, thinks he is still a kitten. Hiro does well with other cats here at the shelter. He has always lived indoors and must be an indoor only cat. If Hiro sounds like the cat for you, give the animal shelter a call, 541.265.0720, to make an appointment to meet this handsome fella! The fee to adopt Hiro is $75.00. **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Story
My name is Sister Tammy and I am looking for a new family that can help support me on my epic weight loss journey! My first family lost their home in the Echo Mountain fires and had to find me a new home. My second family also ran into some major life changes and had to bring me to the shelter to find me my third and hopefully forever home! My friends here at the shelter took me to see a veterinarian and if you can believe it, the vet said I need to loose weight! They say no more sodie pops and gravy for me...sigh. I have learned here that play and people are so much more rewarding than any food! I have done well with other cats, small dogs, and respectful children. If you are looking for a lovely kitty and are interested in helping a sister out, please ask to meet me! The fee to adopt Sister Tammy is only $50.00! *All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a cardboard pet carrier, a free veterinary visit, a coupon for Feed Corral on Hwy 101, and a coupon for Mini Pet Mart. If you live in Lincoln County and have dogs in the home, they must be licensed in Lincoln County (requires current rabies vaccination). If you rent, you would need permission from your landlord to have a pet. Phone messages will be returned in the order they are received. Story
Meet Zinc, she is a little over 2yrs, spayed female. Zinc was abandoned at our clinic with her 4 teen kittens. Our wonderful clinic jumped into action and had them stay there, as our shelter was full and didn't have space for 5 adult cats. Zinc's babies have all been adopted, but our Zinc remains. When she arrived she was not very social, she hated living with multiple cats and did not really want affection from humans. Now that all her adult kids are gone and she is now sharing space with 2 cats, Agee and Jolene, she has come out of her shell. We have found she loves men, especially one of our amazing volunteers Bob. She would love a quieter home, no dogs and no young children. She likes cats who don't get in her face and close to her age or older and are independent like her. She would love someone patient and that is okay with her being up high, she loves to be up high and watch the room and activities. She just needs someone who is ready to open their heart and give her a chance, are you that person? Reduced adoption fee, Thank you Susan for you kind donation towards Zinc's adoption fee. My adoption fee is $70: This includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food they are currently *** You don't need an appointment to visit our cats, here is what you need to know: 1. Cats are avaible to visit Thursday-Saturday 10am-3:30pm. 2. Proof of home ownership must be brought with you, i.e a mortgage statement or property tax or home owners insurance 3. If you are a renter, you must have a letter from your landlord stating you can have a cat, pet policy and or pet agreement are not sufficient. 4. Debit/Credit or cash for adoption 5. Cat carrier, we have card board ones for $5 6. You can place a hold on a cat, due to people not returning we will be charging $25 to hold, this will be taken off your adoption fee.

Story
***Available to meet by appointment only, please e-mail us at shelter@hbpets.org or reply on Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet or rescue.org*** **They are not on site** Bonded pair, Jackie and Florence, would do best being adopted together. While the girls have come so far, they both stay close to each other and sleep together at night*** Meet our track stars, Carl Lewis, Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Florance Griffith Joyner aka Flo-Jo. This 3 litter mates, are all spayed/neutered, approx 8mths old. These three were transfers from another Oregon county shelter, they needed more TLC then they could offer. These three arrived, so scared and shy. We knew they needed our amazing foster mom Amber, so after they finished quarantine and got spayed/neutered they went to Amber's. With Amber's magical ability to be patient and give these kittens exactly what they needed, they have now come aorund and are ready for their new homes. Carl is the social butterfly of the three, the girls are more shy, all three love to play, get affection and occasionally snuggle up with you. They have been aorund cats and children. My adoption fee is $200 for bonded pair ($100 each): This included spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food.
