Meet Carmello! She's a sweet little calico who's been fostering with me for several months. Carmello is very shy at first and will need time and patience to adjust to a new environment. She spent most of her first week with me hiding under my bed, avoiding contact with people. However, she gradually became bolder and ventured out to explore her surroundings. Over time, she's let people come closer to her and eventually touch her. It's been a joy to see Carmello's progress as she's come out of her shell. She enjoys being petted and especially likes head scritches. However, she dislikes any attempts at being held or picked up and will run away if you try. She has a quiet purr and has a charming, chirping meow. She's happiest when sleeping in a comfy spot or looking out the window at the world. She likes playing with toys and playing chase with my other cat. I believe she'd fit in fine with other cats, though I'm unsure how she is around dogs. A quieter household with either older children who'd respect her space, or no children would be the best fit for her. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle cat in your life, Carmello would be an excellent fit! Carmello is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Kira is a very sweet but shy cat. She flinches when you go to pet her, so she needs slow motions. I have other cats, and she does fine with them. They don't interact much as they are older. I think she would do well with a friendly cat. She plays at night and sleeps during the day. She loves her scratching posts. She plays with me as well. Kira really enjoys being brushed. She loves her Fromm Chicken Ala Veg and so does her tummy. I have covered litterboxes with Dr Elsey's unscented cat litter, and she's been perfect. She was scared of the dogs in her previous foster home, so she'd do best in a home without dogs. My home is very quiet. I do not think a busy or a loud house would work for her as she gets scared and hides if it is busy on occasion. Kira needs time to warm up to you. She's skittish but very loving once she's comfortable. Kira is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
