Oh Toby! This youngster will thrive with a kindhearted guardian who can be his cheerleader as she transitions to a new home. Toby would enjoy living with a well-adjusted dog to show him the ropes! HSBV recommends a home with older or no children.

Oh Tucker! This youngster will thrive with a kindhearted guardian who can be his cheerleader as he transitions to a new home. Tucker would do best living with a well-adjusted dog to show him the ropes, for this reason we are requiring that he go home with another dog to ensure a smooth transition! HSBV also recommends a home with older or no children.

Story
Prue and her charmed sisters came to us after their mom was hit by a car and passed. Prue is very adventurous and loves to explore everything with her mouth (as puppies do!) She was the first to pick up the cue “sit” and is the most confident of her sisters. She loves to play chase with whoever will, and enjoys being able to explore her surroundings. Prue would love a home that can continue her on her path to being a confident adventure dog!

Story
Piper and her charmed sisters arrived in Colorado after their mother was hit by a car and killed. These three girls are so much fun! They are learning all about being good dogs and enjoy running around the yard and playing with their foster siblings. Piper is the bravest of the sisters and always is the first out the door for a new adventure. She is also the most playful and will find something to amuse herself with (put your shoes up!) in a very puppy way.

Story
Hi, I'm Sonny! I'm an 1 year old Foxhound mix (best guess). I'm the perfect size, roughly 40 lbs. I might seem a little shy at first, but that's just because I'm still learning to trust. Once I get to know you, I promise to be your best friend. I love to play, but I also know when it's time to mellow out and cuddle. I'm gentle and sweet, even though I've had a tough start. I came here skinny, but with love and care, I'm getting stronger every day. I'm just a young pup, full of potential. If you adopt me, I promise to be the most loyal, loving companion you could ever ask for. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! ##1849697##

Story
Trevor is a sweet old gent who has been through an ordeal. He came into our rescue partner in Texas as a stray, but he did have a microchip. After having no luck finding his family, they asked if we would take him in and find him a loving forever family! We're excited to learn more about his personality and what kind of home will be best for him. Trevor getting pets: https://youtube.com/shorts/6sB8u2-pZv8?feature=share Trevor in the kennel: https://youtube.com/shorts/MD40nXzHYP8?feature=share ADOPTION FEE: $300 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.
