Story
Bonjour! My name is Sunny, and I'm a charming French Bulldog ready to steal your heart! At 2 years old and 16 pounds, I bring a delightful mix of playfulness and cuddles to any home. I am currently being fostered in Houston Texas with other small and large dogs. I'm looking for a loving family who can provide me with lots of attention and snuggles. While I may be small in size, my personality is anything but! I thrive in homes where I'm the center of attention and can shower my humans with affection. I get along well with children and other pets. I'm always up for some quality time with my family and a cozy nap on the couch. . While I enjoy short walks and indoor playtime, I'm not the most energetic pup on the block. A light exercise routine suits me just fine, but I'll never say no to a good romp in the backyard! French Bulldogs, like me, may require some extra care and lower exercise due to our flat faces. You will also need to take extra care of my skin and be prepared to clean all of my adorable wrinkles. Car rides?? Yes please! I would love to go with you to take the kids to school, grab a morning coffee or for a late night ice cream treat. I ride great in the car, but you will have to pick me up and put me in- I am a little gal! I am working on potty training, but I am a super smart girl and with a regular potty schedule and positive reinforcement I should learn fast! Crate trained?? Yes! I don’t love going in my crate, but once I am in it I am quiet and typically lay down for a nap. I'm a smart cookie and eager to please, making me a quick learner when it comes to basic commands and house training. With a little patience and positive reinforcement, I'll become the perfect addition to your family. If you think I'm the furry companion you've been searching for, please fill out the adoption application below so an adoption coordinator can reach out to you! Merci beaucoup for considering me as your new best friend! 🐾 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66217d242376f2ae920be1b0 Please email Jodi@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, we inject or give 2-6 months of heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
This cute guy is Bubba, and he would love nothing more than to be your forever cuddle companion. Bubba is a low energy 40 pound, 6-year old French Bulldog. Bubba is SO sweet and will follow his person everywhere. He is quite easy going, rarely barks and is perfectly content with a chew toy by himself as well. Bubba has IVDD (Intervertebral disc disease) so has some limitations using his back legs, but it doesn't slow him down. He does great in the house with tile or carpet, and can get around great on his own with very limited assistance. He can climb and descend a few stairs, but would do best in a home without many stairs, or an apartment with an elevator. He really loves being outside and going for walks, but drags his feet so he can develop sores without shoes so access to a grassy area would be great. He is potty trained, but due to his IVDD can drip a little, but he does great with a diaper. This is drastically improving with the removal of two bladder stones. It's not his fault though, so his forever person will have to be patient with this. Bubba is crate trained and loves all of the people he's met. He is good with other dogs with a slow introduction, but he much prefers his people. Cats unknown. He's potty trained, good with dogs, generally ignores cats and crate trained. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Bubba, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationApril 23, 2024, 7:16 am
