Story
This is Beans. He’s a 4 1/2 year old German Shepard that we rescued when he was a pup. He’s been well loved but has dealt with some anxiety since his best friend (previous dog) passed almost 2 years ago. He is house trained and great with kids. Outside of our previous dog he hasn’t had a lot of time or practice around other dogs, though has shown to be pretty docile and curious when given the chance. He does not seem to do well with cats though. Has a tendency to chase them off. Not an aggressive bone in his body, will bark at strangers but warms up very quickly. Have never seen him be aggressive toward anyone in the time we have had him and he has been excellent with kids. We love this dog very much but our family is currently in a living condition that’s making it very hard for him to be loved the way we deserves to be and we feel the best thing for him right now is to find someone who can give him more time and love than we have been able to recently.

Story
King is a very high energy dog. He gets along great with one of my dogs but not with the other. He has never hurt any of my cats but he does like to chase them so, a cat free home would be best. I got him from a friend that owned him for 4 years. I was hoping he would be a good fit but, he needs way more attention than I can give him. I think he would be best in a home with someone that has time to take him to run out his energy on a daily basis. I suspect he has anxiety. So he definitely needs someone with patience, and willing to work with that. He's never hurt any children he's just pretty rambunctious

Story
Hi, I'm Luna! I'm about 3 years old and weigh 57 pounds. I'm a gentle, tender gal who enjoys giving kisses!Do you like dogs? Please bring all dogs in the home with you when you come to meet me! Cats? I am not sure how I would do with cats, a slow introduction would be necessary.Kids? Unknown. I would need to meet all kiddos in the home prior to adoption to see how we feel about each other. I may do best with more mature children who can be respectful towards me. I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Ski was found on4/11/24 at Barger & Taney. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Thelma is about 3 yo., 70 lbs. Thelma is a lovely, calm, sweet, and affectionate girl. She's doing great with potty training, leash walking, place work, and general obedience. She's being crate trained and getting the hang of it. Thelma is playful with other dogs and would do well with another friendly dog in the home. She is loving, gentle, and affectionate, and could do well with respectful children. She will be the best companion for someone who can continue her training and provide her with the structure, rules, boundaries, and guidance to succeed. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates on our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.
