Jojo rides amazing in the car and would be the perfect companion for someone who goes on small adventures or just wants a gigantic lap dog to keep them company at home. She prefers to be the queen of the castle with no other dogs or cats in the home. She has had multiple successful play sessions other dogs on site and does great but please keep in mind that she would still need guidance if she were to live in a home with another dog. She is VERY selective and might not make friends with any other dog. Although she is six years old, she is a young pup at heart. Her ideal castle would consist of endless toys and belly rubs! In JoJo's words ..."Helloooooo nice person! I'm Jojo; who are you? You say you're looking for a dog??? That's amazing! Because I am a dog! You say you knew that? That you came here looking for ME? Story

Dozer was purchased from a litter when he was 3 months old. He is an almost 4-year-old fixed male. He is a mixed GSD and Malamute. He is housebroken, chipped, has all his shots and has some professional training. He is sweet, goofy, great with kids, and such a love bug! He is an inside dog who loves being outside. He needs a lot of room to run but he will be your new best friend! He needs a new home because his older sister of a different breed is just not getting along with him - but he is great with other dogs! It breaks our heart to have to rehome him, but our other dog is older, was adopted from a shelter and was mistreated by her previous owners so she is very skittish of people. We think it would be harder on her to be rehomed than Dozer. We have tried everything we can think of to enable us to keep both dogs, but nothing has been successful.

I rescued Mowgli from an owner in a condo with little exercise and extremely skinny. He turned one in January. I really love him but I am a 74 year old lady that is about to have shoulder surgery and won't be able to throw his ball or be active for a long time. He is really sweet and is great with our other dog...but Brody is a senior dog and can't be the playmate he deserves....I am asking for a rehoming fee of 200.00 but will consider waiving the fee if we find the right fit

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out !Peach was rescued off of the Red List from Bakersfield Humane Society.  She was found as a stray walking the streets asking for help from human passers by.  Although we don't know who her parents were, she looks like a petite white Shepard with a splash of husky.  She is energetic and curious.  Would do best in an active home that would take Peach on adventures. She loves to wrestle with her dog friends preferable medium-large dog friends. She has learned to enjoy her crate and will go in with no fuss. She enjoys dog puzzles and any and all toys. She does require to be crated during car rides as she is still working on her potty training. But when she is able to she loves the breeze against her face while she sticks her head out the window. She will make an amazing companion to anyone who is ready to give her the love, attention, and training for her to thrive in any home. She will truly enjoy being your little shadow as she is as loyal as they come.
