Story
Juliet is a 7 year old standard Schnauzer, 19lbs, with so much personality. She loves a good walk and will keep herself entertained all day looking out of the window if you'll let her. When she's not guarding the house she loves a good cuddle but also enjoys her own space. She is good with the smaller dog in her foster home, but can be selective. She needs a very slow introduction and much patience. She only learned to co-exist with her foster sibling after 2 weeks. She is potty and kennel trained and will even "go to bed" on command. She loves hearing her name and is treat and attention motivated. Juliet would do best in a calm house with adults and older kids that have had experience with dogs. Her previous owners surrendered her, they had small children that were having issues with her. She is a very good girl and has so much love to still give. She has gotten along with her foster family's dog, but it is unknown if she would do well with cats. Juliete is also a flight risk. Her adoptive family will need gates or be diligent having her put up until she is comfortable and will not try to run out the door. Open your house up to this loving dog as she enters her later years. As a Schnauzer she is also hypoallergenic in case your household needs a low shedding dog. Juliet's adoption fee is $150. This covers her vaccinations, microchip, spay and heartworm testing. Apply to adopt her today at lucky13rescue.org.

Story
Grizz is a 2 year old Giant Schnauzer mix, weighing 61 pounds. His hobbies include fetch, tug-of-war, and going on walks. Grizz has a heart of gold and will be a perfect companion. He enjoys playgroups with the other dogs and walks with volunteers. Grizz was adopted, but returned because his high energy was underestimated. He did not have the space he needed living in an apartment. Grizz is back to looking for an active home that will give him the exercise and training that he needs. While adopted, we found out that Grizz thinks he is a lap dog, he is active, playful, friendly, and gets along with other dogs, they took him to the dog park often. He loved playing tug and like stuffed toys. Grizz isn't crate trained, but he stayed in the room when the owners were gone, and he didn't tear anything up. Grizz was potty trained and asked to go outside when he needed to go and he knows sit, go, come, and down. Grizz struggles here in the shelter and could really use a home with a backyard with an active family!
