Meet Millie! This adorable girl is about 1-2 years old. Unfortunately her owner passed away and ended up at a kill shelter. She is soooo sweet and affectionate and thinks she is a lap dog. Millie is about 60 pounds. She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She loves toys, cuddles and kisses. She was dna tested that’s how we know she is a golden mix.

Camden is a handsome boy who loves to run and play with dog friends in the play yard. When he runs "zoomies" at top speed you can't help but smile. He's happy to be with his favorite people and absolutely loves receiving pets and massages from those he trusts. Camden also has earned the reputation of being a calming influence on some anxious dogs here at the refuge. Camden is shy around new people and in new situations. He came to Alaqua as a puppy, along with his brother, two sisters, and their mother. Found as strays, it was apparent the four pups had not been socialized around people and were very scared when they first arrived. As time went by, and through the love and attention of dedicated staff and volunteers, the two brothers and two sisters slowly began to trust humans. Soon they were running, playing, and loving attention from human friends. Camden was the most shy and reserved of the four siblings. Camden will need a little time to feel comfortable and trust you, but once he does, you will gain a loyal and loving companion for life. He will thrive in a calm home environment with an adult person or couple who are patient and committed to helping him adjust to his new home. Camden might enjoy the right dog brother or sister to play with in a secure fenced backyard or cuddle with indoors. Because he is shy he is often overlooked, but for the right adopter who will give him a chance to open up, he will be a true gem
