Story
Meet Chloe! Chloe is a 1.5 year old Goldendoodle, that finds herself in rescue after a local shelter reached out for assistance. Chloe was picked up by the shelter after wandering the streets with a debilitating birth defect. SRC was happy to welcome her to rescue. Chloe has had a long road to recovery, but she has finally made it. After a challenging surgery to repair her luxating patella’s, she has also completed a therapy program to assist with her new found mobility. She has done fabulous with all. Life is now one big adventure for this girl, and you better be ready to keep up! With her young age, and new found mobility, she is curious about all things inside and out. (Everything) She loves to run and especially loves her toys. She lives with 2 large dogs and 4 small and plays well with everyone. Chloe is a loyal girl and loves her human. There is not a lap that she can’t squeeze into. She loves to cuddle, loves to give kisses and aims to please everyone. She is housebroken and crate trained. Chloe perfect family would be one with a fenced yard, and another similar sized pup. A family that also understands her curiousness and are prepared to have that patience tested. Remember she’s still a puppy at heart. If interested in Chloe you can start the process by filling out an application. Gets along with other dogs? Yes Gets along with cats? Story
Feb. 2024: Strawberry is part of a litter of 5 puppies. His mom Marshmallow is a doodle. Not sure what she is mixed with, definitely poodle. We have added moms picture. She weighs about 30-35 lbs. Marshmallow was found in the road in rural TN by a previous adopter. We agreed to take the family into rescue. The pups are happy and tail waggers. They were born around Thanksgiving. They will be active pups and fence required. No exceptions. Doodles need lots of room to play and run. They are puppies and require a lot of work and cleanup. Fred's Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 50 miles from Cincinnati. All puppies vetted with age appropriate shots and will be scheduled for spay/neuter when puppy is old enough. They will go out on a foster to adopt until altered. The approved applicant must bring the pet to the rescue vet need vaccines and for altering. ***You must have a vet history to adopt a puppy*** The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Story
George is a 6 year old Golden Doodle. We adopted him from a farm in Dunnville, Kentucky. He is truly a very sweet dog to everyone once he gets to know them. He is protective of our family and always barks loudly at passer Byers, delivery men etc. We’ve never had an issue with him attacking other humans, but he gets very aggressive towards other dogs being walked by our home. He’s gotten out of his electric fence on multiple occasions and gone after passing dogs. It pains us to do this but we can’t take a chance on him potentially hurting a dog or human. He’d do much better in a home that is more spread out from other houses, in a true fenced in yard or on a street that doesn’t get so much foot traffic. He loves to cuddle, go for walks, ride in cars.
