This sweet boy is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations, making him ready to join your family right away. He's hoping for an adopter committed to keeping him healthy for life with routine veterinary care. Smokey is fully potty trained, boasting zero accidents in his foster home. While he may need a little time to get used to a new routine, his impeccable record speaks for itself. When it comes to chewing, Smokey knows the drill-he sticks to appropriate items like chew toys and puzzles. Although he's done well without a crate in his foster home, positive crate training would be beneficial for him and help him adjust to a new environment at his own pace. Smokey is a sociable pup and has gotten along famously with three other dogs in his foster home, but gradual introductions are key to ensure a smooth transition. While he finds cats intriguing and may trot after them occasionally, he quickly loses interest and coexists peacefully with them. Still, slow introductions are recommended. On walks, Smokey shines-he walks well on a leash and is a joy to stroll with. While he adores kids, his exuberant puppy energy might be overwhelming for smaller children. Therefore, it's important that he's not left alone with kids too young to understand and respect his body language.
