Chicken Nugget is looking for his forever home. Preferably without kids but he absolutely adores other dogs! He is just a super cuddly snuggle bug and walks nicely on a leash when given appropriate support. He's also still working on having nice house manners but he gets better every day! His favorite thing in the world... A bone or frozen Kong!

Story
Luna is a 3 month old mix. We're not sure what the mix is but it could be a larger hound breed or something else altogether (Great Dane, perhaps). She came to UFBH from a very full shelter with minimal information. She is doing very well in her foster home. She sleeps thru the night and uses the doggie door like a pro!

Story
Hello handsome! This beautiful boy is Yogi and he is a sweet 4.5 year old Great Dane/Lab mix who is the epitome of a gentle giant! He loves toys, other playful dogs, people, and especially kids. He is careful around small dogs and kids and will lay down to play at their level. Despite his size he's pretty easygoing and the biggest lovebug you'll ever meet. He loves scratches behind the ears and attaches quickly to his people. Yogi is content to nap and snuggle most of the time, but when something fun comes around, he is always up for an adventure! Yogi is house trained and very smart. He knows several commands already and is eager to please. He is very food motivated, and he'd love a person to continue teaching him new things! He doesn't love being in a crate, but he is working on being independent. Despite his size, he is a good boy and knows not to get on counters or jump on people. Adopt Yogi, and he will shower you with love and show you endless loyalty!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Mr Moose! This goofy guy is full of energy and would thrive in a home where he will get enough physical and mental stimulation. When he’s not running around outside or playing tug of war, he loves to snuggle up on his bed or on the couch. He loves when food is shared with him, some favorites include carrots, bell peppers, frozen berries, apples, and ice. He would love to go to a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe and play in sprinkler in the summer, and play in the snow in the winter. He has a couple rough spots that should be easy enough to smooth out with some training, so, for the time being, it would be best for him to be the only dog in the home. He has also decided recently that (some) strangers are a bit scary. We have done a bit of training with him and our trainer said that he just needs more socialization and exposure to new environments, but assures us that he is a sweet and smart boy who has so much potential! Please reach out with any questions!

Story
**Fostered in Seattle, WA, and ready for meet & greets!** 🐾 Meet Romeo! 🐾 Hello there! My name is Romeo the Great, and I'm ready to sweep you off your feet with my gentlemanly charm and goofy antics! I'm a big-hearted giant, but don't let my size fool you—I'm as gentle as they come. Let me share a bit about myself. First, I'm a social chap who loves human and animal companions. Whether it's dogs of any size or respectful kitties, I play well with everyone and thrive on friendship. Car rides are my favorite pastime, although I like having a whole row to myself to stretch out and relax. One of my favorite activities is frolicking off-leash at the beach and romping around with my puppy foster brother. Despite my senior status, I still have a playful spirit. I'm also crate and house-trained, and I have excellent leash manners, making me a dream to have around. I'm looking for a forever home with a big, comfy bed to call my own. I promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and a touch of saliva from my happy, wagging tail. Are you ready to add a big bundle of love to your life? Meet me, Romeo, and let's start our beautiful journey together! 🐾❤️ Application link:https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65a84e24063d1c70780b4c90 Please email evanh@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport.
