Story
Apollo joined our family about two years ago when a friend of mine could no longer care for him. In that time I have house trained him and taught him a few basic tricks. Apollo will be 4 in September. Apollo is a big sweet baby and a big protector since he is a guardian breed. He is very good with my other dog and my cat. He has shown signs of aggression towards other dogs though. He also has shown aggression towards kids that are not my kids or his previous owners kids. He has also shown aggression towards random other people and I cannot figure out his triggers. He is mouthy and barks quite a bit since he's on guard most the time. He's got a bit of food aggression. He's very smart, a great security dog, and a big sweet boy. He loves nothing more than to cuddle up with me or to go on walks. I recently went through a divorce and I don't have the time he needs anymote and he is spending too much time in his crate. He would make a great pet for someone without kids and maybe a farm.

Story
We adopted Olaf as a puppy through Columbus C.A.R.E. in November 2022. His birthday is July 4, 2022. He has been kept up to date with vaccines, grooming, and is neutered. Olaf has done well living in our home with two young kids, two cats, and our mini Aussie, who we had before Olaf. He prefers the outdoors and loves to roam, as his breeding suggests. Due to an unforeseen move to a neighborhood, our new home is not well suited to his needs and so we have decided it would be best to rehome him. Behavioral issues we are aware of: predates on chickens (his part husky showed itself in this way, unfortunately); does not care about electric fence shocks. He has a very sweet personality (more great pyr than husky in temperament) and for the most part, he just enjoys sleeping in the yard and getting belly rubs! We think he would do best in a home with a fenced outdoor space, or a rural/farm setting where he could guard (large animals only) and/or roam.
