Story
weight 80 lbs  11 months old as of 4/14/2024 adoption donation $499         Lila is such a sweetheart! She is a very gentle girl and definitely a Velcro dog, she follows her foster mom everywhere and just wants to be petted and loved. Leila recently arrived in the northeast from Mississippi and settled in quickly, she’s doing great walking on a leash and is perfectly potty trained although  like any rescue dog she may need a refresher when she adjust to a new home.        Lila and her siblings were left in a cardboard box by the side of the road in rural Mississippi with a note saying “free puppies.” Fortunately Wags stepped in and took the family in.          Lila love to play with other dogs and is fine with cats. She likes her crate and loves to gnaw on bones.  Lila love her people and loves to lay her big head on your lap as soon as you sit down! Even though she likes dogs, we think Lila would love all the attention herself and would prefer to be the only dog in the family. She’s a wonderful companion dog and will make a very loving and loyal member of the family.  For more information please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  April 23, 2024, 9:47 pm

Story
Twizzler is a sweetheart who is the best snuggler combined with amazing spirit and bright eyes! She is the only girl out of five pups that were born into rescue after their mama, Tres Leches, was found pregnant. Twizzler has held her own with her 4 brother siblings. She seems to love having another pup around. She also is great at following her canine siblings cues and is one of the most respectful of her littermates to them. She is almost always curled up to them or her brothers. This girl is a cutie is super smart, inquisitive and a great learner She already knows her foster home routine and is super cooperative and patient. Twizz loves romping in the yard and playing. She settles well and wants to please. Also crates well. She will mostly likely be a large baby about 60-70 pounds and will do well with any family all in to help him grow into a well socialized adult! TaterTot is a silly handsome boy with a gorgeous fluffy black coat splashed with just the right amount of white. He is one of five pups that were born into rescue after their mama, Tres Leches, was found pregnant. Tater Tot is such a cutie that loves the outdoors and finding stick to chew on. sometimes, he will even fall asleep right under the trees! This black beauty seems a people pup, but also loves his adult foster siblings. He is the most respectful but, at times, may not have alot of patience for his littermates shenanigans.TaterTot loves toys and is learning to share with his pup friends and siblings. He loves to be near his person but is a patient puppy and not in your face for attention. Story
Tabasco is an adorable puppy with a lot of sweetness and as his namesake suggests, a dash of spice! He is one of five pups that were born into rescue after their mama, Tres Leches, was found pregnant. This boy is a white fluffy cutie with adorable markings and when he was born, the spot on his back was shaped like a heart, perfect for this baby born on Valentine’s Day! Tabasco is the first to start the tug o' war party and holds strong with the others. He loves his adult canine foster siblings and is learning understanding, respect and social skills. Tabasco loves toys and is learning to share with his pup friends and siblings. He also loves to be near his person but is not a needy puppy. He is a bit more unsure than his siblings, but is building up his confidence. He crates well and is being housetrained.Tabasco will mostly likely be a large baby about 60-70 pounds and will do well with any family all in to help him grow into a well socialized adult! Story
Landry is as sweet as his off the charts good looks! He is a delightful submissive baby doing amazing with kids, dogs, cats and is a true gem in every sense of a puppy learning its world. He was a stray, but appears to be VERY Pyrenees. We feel he will be a beautiful dog as an adult with great energy. Landry is being fostered with young children and his favorite person may be the youngest but he loves everyone in a respectful sweet submissive way. He loves to go pick up the kids in carpool and is an awesome co-pilot to his foster mom. Landry is doing awesome with potty training and crates like a dream!! Right now he loves being carried around like a baby, so he will probably be a big snuggler as an adult! Landry will need time to fully grow into his adult size so short walks and adventures are prolly best for his first year.He will most likely not be your hiking adventure buddy, but more "let’s walk the block and grab coffee at the coffee shop" kind of adult.Soooo, if you are looking for a large to x-large breed gem of a puppy, Landry is your guy!Apply fast......this gorgeous boy won't last long!Name: LandryBreed: Great PyreneesSex: MaleAge: 9 weeksWeight: 14.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforcedVaccinations:   Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are responsibility of adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained: Getting thereMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  AlabamaPuppy Adoption Fee:  $550.00 (includes spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England.   We can provide a list of low costs SN clinics to adopters when requested. Adoption fee also includes transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.  PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Story
Daisy was found as a young small puppy in rural Cullman County. The family that found her were on a farm and had children, cats and dogs. They thought they would rehome her but never got around to it. They love her but realized they did not have time for another dog. That is when they recently turned to us to help rehome her to a loving family. She is very very loving. Wants affection and has no trouble returning it. She loves to play and would do well with another playful dog, or a human that loves to play with her. Please consider giving this sweet girl the love she seeks. Daisy is fully vetted, spayed, heart worm negative, microchipped and had her double dew claws removed when she was spayed. She is healthy, still a puppy ( although a not so small puppy) and looking for a family to love. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com
