Story
Hey there! My name is Freckles, I'm a 5 year old beagle and I am looking for my forever home! I love to give kisses and snuggle! I'm trying to learn not to jump but I just love people so much! A typical beagle, I love to investigate ALL the things. My foster mom says I'm smart and curious. I learned my name in only 2 days! I adore my human foster siblings but I've had some disagreements with my doggie foster siblings. We've decided I would probably be best as the only dog in my new home so I can be queen of my castle. I currently live with 4 cats and I don't understand them, so sometimes I chase them and bark to see what they do. If my new home has cats, they would need to be dog savvy and willing to deal with my curiosity. Because I am so curious, I tend to try to dash out the door any chance I get, so I need a home with a fenced in yard and family who will be cautious when leaving without me. I walk pretty good on a leash, unless I find a fun scent and then I forget my manners and tug to follow the smell I find intriguing. I would really love a home with kids because they are my favorites. My foster mom is cool, but I cry when the kids leave for school. I know basic commands and would be willing to take classes to learn new tricks or maybe an agility course. I don't like my crate and I cry and try to break out when I'm stuck in it. I much rather sleep with my human foster sister. She let's me steal the covers and even her pillow. Overall, I pack a lot of personality into my petite body and I would love to be your new furry family member. I tested positive for lymes on intake but I've been treated. I'm UTD on vaccines, spayed, chipped and ready for my forever family!
