Story
If you're ready to meet your very best friend and adventure buddy, your wait is over! Marina is a super friendly, spunky, and wonderful 1-year-old Husky mix and she's ready to share life with you. Marina enjoys playing with toys, playing tag with other dogs, going for hikes and walks, and snuggling up to her humans when it's time to nap. She will even use your arm as a pillow! Marina is looking for a family that can keep up with her pep and be able to provide her with plenty of daily exercise, mental enrichment, and socialization. Marina does awesome with other dogs but can get overly excited and have a hard time settling down. And resident dogs should be able to match her playstyle. and energy. Marina will likely do best in a home without cats. Marina can be jumpy and rowdy when she's playing or overly excited and is looking for a home with just older, dog-experienced kids, closer to their teen years. Due to her energy levels, Marina is not a fit for an apartment or condo. If you're ready to welcome home this special girl, send in an adoption application today! *Marina is currently in a foster home and not located in our shelter.#activelifestyle #playful

Story
If you're a fan of energetic, lively, and enthusiastic pups, then Kenai may be your match! This 1-year-old Husky is full of bouncy energy and ready to live a life of hiking, running, exploring, and playing. Kenai is looking for breed experienced adopters who can give him all the daily exercise and enrichment he needs to stay happy and healthy. Kenai does well with other dogs, though he hasn't lived with any before. He also hasn't lived with cats. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Kenai will likely do best with older kids (12+) who are comfortable around large, jumpy dogs. Due to his breed and energy levels, Kenai is not a good fit for an apartment or condo environment and would benefit from a fenced yard to run around. If you're ready to welcome home this fun-loving pup, make an adoption appointment to meet him today! #activelifestyle #playful

Story
Juni is 1.5 years old, and she is the loveliest girl. Unfortunately, I've developed some bad allergy/respiratory issues after having COVID a few months ago, and have to give her away. I've raised her from when she was 10 weeks. She's very energetic and playful, loves chasing everything that moves, and wants to be everyone's friend and playmate. She will require a fenced yard, preferably on the large side, as she is not too fond of being indoors for long periods. She was house trained as a pup, but has spent most of her time in our backyard since. She will also need plenty of exercise. She is not very vocal, unlike most huskies, and barks rarely, and never without reason. She's never shown any leash/fence aggression, and never even responds when other dogs are aggressive towards her, except to try playing with them. She loves food and will eat anything you give her, making her easy to train with treats. She knows all basic commands like Sit, Down, Wait, Drop It, Leave It and others.
