Story
Eldora was brought in with her friend, Charlie, because their family was moving. She is one of the sweetest girls we've ever had at the shelter. She loves to play outside with Charlie and will play with other dogs thru the fence running up and down the yard. She adores children and has a great way of convincing people to rub her belly. Eldora also loves to chase tennis balls! Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. Story
Colby is a very talkative husky with a great personality! He enjoys playing fetch with people and plays well with most other dogs. He prefers being outside, and sometimes he plays "catch me if you can" when it's time to go back inside, but it's all in fun. Colby's favorite thing to do is to sit in front of someone while they brush his coat! Colby can be food aggressive with other dogs so he will need to be fed separately and given clear boundaries. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. Hello, I'm Trudy! I'm a sweet, friendly gal who loves to explore and play. My curiosity knows no bounds, but don't worry, I'm well behaved. I love to snuggle up and listen to your day, it's one of my favorite things. I'm playful too, so we can have lots of fun together. I love to explore new places, sniff out exciting scents, and discover fun toys. I get along just fine with other dogs as well. I'm just looking for a forever home where I can share my love and playfulness.

Story
I have the traditional Siberian Husky energy. I am an AFFECTIONTE doggie. I love giving kisses and being hugged. 💛 You can say my love language is physical touch/human interaction. I also enjoy playing on the 1/2 acre of land. So much space to run around and play tag. I love playing tag with other doggies. Or wrestle with them. I get along with males and submissive females. For breeds, I get along with other Huskies, Dobermans, a Labrador, chihuahuas, and Alaskan Klee Kai. I prefer medium or large breeds since I can wrestle with them. Oh, I am house trained, crate trained, I know how to use a doggie door, "vamanos", and will sit for treats. I LOVE treats. Meat flavors are my favorite. I will any treat Italy (the breeder) gives me. Lately, I have been eating banana/coconut flavor treats. They are delicious. I am a friendly, AFFECTIONATE, alert, intelligent, outgoing, active, agile, lively, confident, playful, and trusting doggie.
