Story
Meet Saturn!Hi there, I'm Saturn, a 1 year old sweet heart! I may be young, but I've already earned a reputation for being the sweetest little pup around. I absolutely adore giving kisses, and my humans can't get enough of them! I'm a quick learner and have been impressing everyone with my mastery of basic commands. My social skills are on point too; I get along famously with other dogs, and I've even made friends with a curious little kitten. Oh, and did I mention how motivated I am? I'm always eager to please and ready for new challenges. When it comes to mealtime, I need a slow feeding bowl, but that doesn't slow down my enthusiasm for life. Every day is an adventure, and I can't wait to see what's next in store for me! Woof! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Aurora! Aurora is such a loving and sweet 2 year old husky. She is very dog friendly and can be around cats, though is curious at first. She adores every kid that walks through our door (we have a social house so this includes quite a few) as well as every kid she meets while we are out and about. She does great in a crowd, smiles at everyone out the window, and is most content with a good head scratch. She is an active dog and loves walks. Aurora is house and crate trained. She kennels while we are at work but roams free at night and when we are home with no issues. She would make an amazing dog for a family, friend for another dog, or someone looking for an active companion for their adventures. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Milo!Milo is a 45 pound, 5 year old Husky mix who will immediately steal your heart. He came to us from a shelter, where he was dropped off by his previous owner for developing glaucoma, which ultimately led to blindness. Milo's disability doesn't slow him down one bit! Most who come into contact with him don't even notice he can't see until it's told to them. Calm-natured and gentle-mannered, this sweet boy makes friends easily with all humans. Milo is very well behaved, hardly ever barking and never engages in destructive behaviors. Milo will do just about anything for a good treat, and is very smart, making him easy to teach new tricks. He'll be your loyal pal forever if given his favorites - peanut butter or beef marrow bones! Milo is low-energy, but does love to play with his human every now and again. Long walks and learning new tricks are among some of his favorite activities. Milo would do well in both a house or apartment building, as he is low-energy and rarely barks. He does love to spend time outdoors, so a fenced yard or balcony is a plus! Milo loves to be around his people, and enjoys all the snuggles he can get! However, Milo does just fine being left alone if needed and will happily greet you when you return. Milo is crate and house trained, and has not had an accident since being in our care. Though he is crate trained, his foster does not often crate him as he is calm and not destructive. Milo would need slow and proper introductions to other dogs in the home. He would need a friend who is low-medium energy and is patient with him, given his disability, which sometimes leads to him bumping into others/objects.Milo's glaucoma requires daily eyedrops, which are necessary to prevent pain and disease progression. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Morrison!A delightful 6 month old Husky mix! At home, she's impressively crate trained and willingly hops into her crate all on her own. She's also a pro when it comes to potty training, making life much easier. But her talents don't stop there-Morrison is a little genius who already knows commands like sit, shake, off, crate, and even "load up" because she goes everywhere with her foster. Her social skills are top-notch; she's a lover of everyone, whether they're dogs, cats, or kids. Morrison is always up for an adventure, whether it's runs by the lake, exploring Trinity trails, or just strolling around the neighborhood. She's a great listener, especially when treats are involved, thanks to her high food motivation. But what truly sets her apart is her affectionate nature. Morrison loves being right by your side. Despite her mixed breed, she's on the smaller side, making her the cutest package of joy you'll ever meet. Morrison, the petite and precious gem, is ready to fill your life with love and unforgettable moments! Story
Meet Dally Zeen! The unique husky with a unique name! Dally is 3 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She LOVES playtime. Dally has been at a board and train to learn the ropes of being a good pup. She is a husky at heart and when not being loved on she wants to run free in the yard. Dally Zeen would benefit from a family that is active. She'd be a good hiking, camping, or running buddy. Dally sometimes gets excited and pulls on the leash but she's quickly corrected and listens when told. She knows sit, paw, and even sits up! Dally would love to run in the yard with some kids or play with another pup that enjoys her energy. Who wouldn't fall in love with those eyes?!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step.
