Story
Meet lovely Lucille, our PAWS resident sweetheart with the kind smile and gorgeous blue eyes! Lucille (Lucy) is very laid back and waits patiently in her kennel for attention, the other dogs jumping and barking doesn't phase her at all. When people come to visit her, she sits nicely and swishes her glorious tail in a polite greeting. She is a dream to leash-walk, keeping pace with her person and peeking over her shoulder to make sure you're still with her. Lucy is so gentle and relaxed, she loves people and enjoys full-body rubs. She is also our resident social butterfly, she is super friendly and gets along famously with other dogs! Her calm and sweet demeanor make Lucy a perfect fit for someone looking for a lower-energy companion, or a snuggle bug to watch movies with. She will be a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to adopt her, come meet her and fall completely in love!

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We found Max about 8 months ago starved and in poor condition. His owner was abusive and neglectful and Max was basically on his own. We began feeding him, took him to the vet to have him neutered and get his shots, and he began staying with us some. His owner gave him to us about 2 months ago and Max is now in good shape and ready for a new owner. The house we're living in has been sold and we're moving out and, unfortunately, losing our fenced yard for at least a year while we build a house and live in an RV. Max needs an experienced owner who can work with him on a few things. But he's really smart, very athletic, eager to learn and looking forward to a lifelong home with a new owner. He's leash trained, house trained, kennel trained and in fact, loves his kennel. He will still counter surf if you leave food out but we're working on that.He hasn't been around people very much and needs help with that. The good news is, you will no longer need to compost. Max will handle it!

Story
Kylo Ren is a five year old husky with coveted one blue and one brown eye. Knows all the basic commands such as sit, stay, down, off, come, and heel. Both leash and off leash trained as well. Although he is better off leash and loves going to the park. He adores getting pets from everyone. We would love to see him go to someone who is active or has time to take him to the park regularly. As a husky he can be stubborn at times. so routine training or someone who is familiar with the breed would be ideal. We are moving oversea or we would not part with him.

Story
Akilis was born in Wasilla, Alaska. His birthday is April 1, 2018. He loves long walks & loved to run around and play. He’s not much of a cuddler but enjoys his scratches & will not hesitate to ask you for more. He loves fresh food but is not a fan of peanut butter. He is potty trained. He know commands such as: sit, lay down, paw, high five, speak, kiss, and wait. I am looking for someone who truly will devote their time to him & keep him active.

Story
Loki is very special to me. It absolutely kills me to give him up. I am leaving this summer for military training and such a career is not fair to Loki. That being said. He's young, about 3 years old; his growth was stunted by parvo which he had when I got him back in 2021, so he will look like a puppy for the rest of his life. He recovered and is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. High energy, but sweet as can be. He doesn't bark, growl, or bite and he loves all people and most dogs. He communicates with his eyes and the occasional whine. Confident but obedient. He is trained extremely well and knows all of his commands, first try, every time. He likes a lot of attention and exercise. He is a velcro dog with anyone he loves. He loves to run and swim. He is a big time cuddler and has zero regard for personal space but is still very well behaved by any standard.

Story
Benedict is a keen hiker and nature lover. He walks very nicely on leash and has a nice pace. He was very overweight when he came to us and has lost over ten pounds!! Whilst at the shelter, he was very patient and calm in his kennel, and somewhat fearful of new people, especially those wearing glasses or obnoxious jewelry. He makes dog friends very easily and is a great playmate. In his foster home Benny shares the house with several dogs, including two tiny, fluffy terrier mixes, a 50lbs shepherd mix, an 80lb poodle to start. He is being socialized regularly by his foster parents and gets taken to public spaces weekly and gets taken on daily walks. Benny is looking for a calm home life where the day will be predictable, and the visitors will be the kind of people to respect his space. Once you have his trust, he is a loyal and loving companion. He enjoys being groomed and takes great satisfaction in rolling in the dry grass afterwards!
