Story
Hello there, I'm Jewell! I've got a heart as precious as my name suggests. I'm a friendly soul, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a playful nudge. I'm gentle too, I promise to be your calm in a bustling world. I've got energy to spare, I love going for walks and I'm pretty good on a leash too! My favorite trick? 'Sit'! I've mastered it. I also have a little secret - I love to dig! It's my own little treasure hunt. My eyes? They're my windows to the world, and they're just waiting to gaze upon a loving family. So, why adopt me? Well, I'm not just a pet, I'm a friend, a confidante, a source of joy. I'm ready to bring a sparkle to your life, just like a real jewel!

Story
Hi there, I'm Brock! I'm a big guy with a big heart, full of love for everyone I meet. Except for cats, we don't really see eye to eye. I tried to climb the play yard fence once, but it turns out my skills are more in the 'vocal' department (I've got a lot to say, and I'm not shy about saying it) than the 'acrobatic' one. Needless to say I was informed when I am in the play yard I now have to be supervised at all times. I just couldn't help myself there's a big world out there I would like to explore. My ideal day would be spent with you, maybe a game of tug-of-war or a long walk. I'm looking for a family who appreciates my playful antics and doesn't mind a little noise. With me around, there's never a dull moment!

Story
Spaz is an active, affectionate young dog. Originally a stray, he spent over a year at a county shelter before coming to Safe Shelter. So we don't know why, but he is really terrified of men, and of being led on a leash. This guy needs a dog-savvy, patient person. Spaz is beautiful, as you can see, is housetrained, and sits on command. Recently we had him neutered and heartworm tested, and he is current on vaccinations. He loves to run in the yard (one is required, to adopt him), and really like squeeky toys. Whatever happened to him in the past, we're hoping time and love can heal it. Safe Shelter adopts to a 2-hour driving distance of Artemas PA. 240 522 7416 for more information, or to schedule a meet-and-greet.
