My name is Buster, and I am a 1-year-old Jack Russel Terrier mix. I was a stray in a crowded county shelter, and was fearful there with all the loud noises, so made my way to a rescue where I could work on being less fearful. My favorite thing to do is play with toys and my furry foster sisters. I am a little nervous and fearful of new people, so I need someone that will have patience with me as I learn that people aren’t bad. It took me a little bit to warm up to my foster family but they are now my favorite people. I love to cuddle after a long day of playing. I’m a pretty active guy and love to go on walks and hikes. Sometimes when I get bored, I can be a little mischievous so it would be best if I have an active family. New people are intimidating to me so I will need someone to work with me and continue my training so that I can overcome my fears. I’ve heard that Amy at MBR is a wonderful trainer and would be happy to help me and my new family with my training. Currently I'm on medication, Zoloft, to help me with my anxiety. I’m mostly potty trained but I do have an occasional accident. I am crate trained and do well going in my crate at night. I would love to have a family of my own, someone who can help me learn to become the amazing dog that I know I am. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 1 year Adoption fee: $350
