Story
Meet Fred! He is around 10 years old and weighs just under 20 pounds. He is ready to find his forever retirement home! Fred came to us from a local shelter with a terrible skin infection and lots of hair loss. His infection has cleared up and he's grown back as much hair as he's going too. He does take a daily medication to help with his skin and gets a medicated bath every couple weeks. He still has some bare spots on his tummy and parts of his rump, but we know there is a senior-loving family or person out there that will look past his patches and see how much this boy has to offer! Fred is house and kennel trained. He has done well with other dogs, big and small, and is also good with cats! He pretty much just ignores them. He hasn't been around children much but we think with his gentle nature he would likely do fine in a home with kids that know how to respect their canine friends. Fred is a happy, sweet boy. He likes to talk to you when he wants something, like his food or attention. He loves treats! He is friendly and does well meeting new people. He even likes to snuggle up with at times. This guy would make a great companion and addition to so many dog-loving homes! Cricket is ready to find her forever home! She is around 11 months old, 37 lbs, spayed, micro-chipped, and vaccinations up to date. She lets you know when she needs to go out for a potty break. She also loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Cricket is doing great on a leash and enjoys going on walks. She would also make a great jogging partner as she loves to run. She enjoys the company of other dogs and people. Cricket achieved significant milestones in obedience at doggy daycare for Focus, Sit, Down, Stand, Wait, and Manners. She also got good marks for being well-mannered and friendly! Cricket still shows some timidity in new situation but given the chance and lots of treats, she warms up quickly.

Hi.  My name is Roxie.  I am a terrier mix that is about twelve years old and I weigh about 42 pounds.  I came to the rescue years ago as puppy and was adopted twice but was recently returned.  My first fur sister and I got into a fight but no one knows why. I mean we have lived together for years with no problems so I am just not sure what happened.  My second mom just decided she didn't have time for me.  Anyways, I am looking for a new home now...it's best to have a home as an only fur child.   I am smart and well trained.  I know all my basic obedience and a few extra tricks.  I am crate trained and house trained. I am a happy girl that loves to run and play or just hang out with you.  I have a soft scruffy coat.  I will bark and let you know if anyone is at the fence or the door.  I wasn't raised around children so it would be a good idea if they were older. I am loyal and loving.
