Hi, I'm Poker. I may seem a bit shy at first, but once you get to know me, you'll see I'm as sweet as can be. I'm a gentle soul, always careful not to startle anyone. I love to cuddle with people I'm comfortable with, it's my favorite thing to do, especially when I'm feeling a bit nervous, which is quite often. I'm also very loyal, I'll always be by your side, ready to give you my undivided attention. I may need a little time to warm up, but once I do, I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. I seem to do ok with other dogs, though it is probably best that they are around my size because I am quite small. I'm not really sure how I would do with cats or children, especially because of my nervousness. I'm a little anxious here and really want to make my way to my new home. Do you think you might have the perfect home for me? Adopting me would mean a world of unconditional love and loyalty. I promise to make every day brighter with my sweet, gentle nature.

She does great with my 8 month old dog along with my 11.5 yr old dog. She is non-aggressive with cats but may chase if they run. I have had a cat with her and rubbing on her with no problem. She loves kids. She likes water and to swim. We have taken her camping with us numerous times. She is reactive but non aggressive and rarely barks. She loves everyone she meets. she loves to sleep in bed right next tp you and doesn't mind. blanket to cover up with. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children.
