I am with another rescue that is having a family emergency. If interested in adopting me, Hay Dude Rescue will pull me into their rescue to complete my adoption. My name is Lola and if you're in search of a gorgeous active gal that is as beautiful inside as out, look no further! I am around a year old and very sweet, active and playful. I do fantastic with everyone... other dogs, people and even those weird smelling creatures y'all call a cat. I would make a great addition for just about any family that is looking for a sweetie to add joy to their life. I will need to have a home with no kids or kids that are older. I'm a sweetie but get very excited when playing or when you come home. I can get a little mouthy, which comes from my young age. We are working on my manners but will need strict parents to keep up my work in progress. I am already house trained so that will leave lots of time for us to get right to the fun stuff. I do love going for my walks whether it's around the neighborhood or going on a sniffari on nature trails. I AM NOT a couch potato and will need an active family that will provide me lots of daily exercise, playtime and adventures. I come in at around 45lb of pure love, 45lbs of happy to see you, 45lbs of tail wags and those melt your heart puppy dog eyes, 45lbs of I'm ready for whatever you're up to doing!! Are you in search of a family addition that will be there by your side, a constant in your life thru all your daily going on's? A BFF to share your joys, sorrows and your adventures? Hi! My name is Duke, and I'm an 80-pound lab mix with boundless energy and a heart full of love. I was surrendered to the shelter when my previous family could no longer care for me. Adjusting to the shelter has been a bit hard for me because I'm lonely and I just want to be around people. The nice folks at the shelter play fetch with me and take me for long walks, but it's not the same as being in a home. I'm about 5 years old and I know my manners pretty well. I'm also potty trained so you won't have to deal with puppy shenanigans with an older guy like me. For the most part I'm just content being with my person and I don't seem to mind other dogs either. I will make a great addition to any family who is willing to take the time and patience for me to adjust to a new routine in a new home. Apply to visit me!NOTE: every dog, cat and child will react differently to a new pet, so proper and safe introductions are always important for a smooth and successful transition.Adoption fee is $225.We do not have open hours for public viewing of our adoptable animals. Duke is a sweet and energetic boy with lots of love. Although I've only known him briefly, it's clear that he is both an intelligent and loyal pup who wants nothing more than someone who can give him that love in loyalty in return. Duke's been owner has had him since he was a young puppy, caring for him for the past four years until an unexpected turn of events led him unable to care for Duke for the next 8 months. It seems rehoming is what's best for Duke as I may only have a possibility of keeping Duke in my home when I move soon and even then wouldn't feel right about the amount of attention I could afford him due to my other obligations.
