Story
This is beautiful Godiva, the delightful pup who captures the hearts of everyone she meets with her irresistible charm and loving spirit! She is incredibly sociable and adores human affection, forming deep connections and bonding strongly with her people. Godiva's affectionate nature makes her a favorite among shelter staff and visitors alike. She eagerly greets every new face with a wag of her tail and a gentle nuzzle. With her friendly demeanor and loving nature, she is the perfect companion for families seeking a sweet and loyal pet. Godiva adores everyone, including children! However, she is not a big fan of cats or other dogs, so she will do best in a home where she is the only furry companion. Godiva has one of the brightest minds and quickly picks up on new commands. She knows all the basics in addition to some fun tricks, she'll even give hugs and kisses when asked! This sweet girl is also potty trained and she has lovely house manners. She walks perfectly on a leash and enjoys quiet strolls with her person. She behaves so beautifully in foster homes and during shelter breaks with her favorite volunteers. This video shows how perfect she is: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1MsCnkuymD/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D Recently, Godiva starred in her first news debut as a featured pet of the week and she did wonderfully traveling and on set! As Godiva patiently waits for forever home, her spirit remains unbroken and her hopeful gaze is a testament to her enduring resilience. For those fortunate enough to welcome Godiva into their lives, their reward is a loyal and loving friend who will bring joy, laughter, and endless love to their home for years to come.

Story
Texas, the loyal medium-sized Retriever yellow Labrador mix, is a unique blend of affection and quirks that make him an unforgettable companion. Despite his stunning appearance and gentle demeanor, Texas has a fear of men, a trait that requires understanding and patience from his future family. However, his love for human affection shines through as he eagerly cozies up in laps and showers his loved ones with endless cuddles. Texas' remarkable bond with feline friends adds an extra layer of charm to his personality, making him an ideal match for households with cats where he can thrive in their company. Housebroken and well-behaved, Texas seamlessly transitions into home life, his love for water adding an extra element of fun to his daily routine. While he may be selective with his canine companions, Texas' loyalty and affection make him a cherished member of the family, eagerly joining in on outdoor adventures and enjoying playtime with his furry friends. Texas is also ver smart, he knows multiple commands such as sit and lay down. Despite his aversion to apartment living, Texas thrives in environments with plenty of space to explore and indulge in his love for water. With his unwavering loyalty and boundless affection, he promises to bring endless joy and companionship to any household lucky enough to welcome him into their hearts. Texas' endearing personality and gentle spirit make him the perfect furry friend for families seeking a devoted companion to share in life's adventures, offering comfort and love as he snuggles close to his loved ones, his indomitable spirit shining brightly through any obstacles he may face.

Story
This sweet girl is Tagalong, and she needs a hero! She was born at PAWS shelter in 2021 as a healthy and adorable puppy. Unfortunately, she was stolen from us and went missing for almost three years. During that time she experienced Masticatory Myositis, which is an inflammatory condition that affects the chewing muscles. It is completely treatable in the early stages, but tragically, young Tagalong did not receive any medical care. As a result, she has some permanent muscle loss in her face, which gives it a bony appearance. Thankfully, this doesn't seem to bother her at all, and she is otherwise a perfectly normal, happy, and healthy young pup. Despite her rough beginning, Tagalong is the absolute embodiment of affection and love. She adores people so much, her entire body wiggles with joy when she sees her human friends. She recently spent time in a foster home, where she lived on a farm with children, horses and several other dogs. Her foster mom shared these wonderful notes with us: "Tagalong is such a sweetheart! She was timid when we first brought her home, but after a few hours she settled right in. She enjoys being part of a family and she loves to be close to us (she is actually laying on my feet while I type this). Tags has very nice house manners, she is 100% potty trained, and she knows how to "come" and "sit." She is a total snuggle bug who crawls into our laps and begs for belly rubs. She is also very playful and LOVES to fetch! She gets along well with our other dogs, including her two PAWS foster sisters- Brynlee and Ginger. They all play very nicely and they enjoy patrolling the farm together. We notice that she does have some stranger-danger with new people, and she appreciates gentle introductions. A really nice thing about Tagalong is she has excellent recall and stays close to us, even when off-leash in open terrain. She's also great around our livestock and horses, she would make an excellent farm dog. Overall, Tags is just an easy-going and happy girl, and we love her!" Tagalong is such an inspiring pup, and she is a true testament to strength and resilience. We are committed to helping her find a loving adopter who will appreciate how special she is. Tagalong will be a delightful addition to any family, and she promises to be a devoted friend for life. Come meet this sweet girl, and see for yourself how beautiful she really is!

Story
This senior gentleman is Prince, and true to his name, he is so very charming! Despite being 8+ years old with some light frosting on his chin, this handsome boy still has so much zest for life. He relishes being outside in the fresh air, and he LIVES for walks with his favorite volunteers. He also enjoys frolicking in the play yards, he gets along best with respectful female dogs (yes, he loves the ladies!). Prince spent many years as a beloved house pet, and thus, he already has a wonderful foundation. He knows all of the basics, and he lived peacefully with another dog sibling. Prince can be a little bit fearful when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness he quickly learns to trust. However, we don't think he is a good fit for families with young children, as the little ones tend to make him too nervous! Overall, this sweet boy is just an easy-going companion who appreciates the simple pleasures of a soft bed, daily walks, and relaxing with his people. We would love to see charming Prince enjoy his retirement years in a home instead of in the shelter. Come and meet him, you're in for a royal treat!
