Story
Hi! My name is Elliott and I am looking for a forever home that will keep me safe and loved. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where my microchip identified my owners. When they were called they said they were on vacation and had left me in the backyard by myself 5 days earlier, they didn't know how I got out and when they got back, they came in and signed me over 'cause they said they just didn't want me anymore. Fortunately, BCAA heard about me, said they would help me and got me out just in the nick of time 'cause as an owner surrender I was immediately put on that bad thing called "the list". Best guess as to my breed mix is possibly maltese mixed with some shihtzu; whatever I am, my foster mom says I'm super cute with a personality to match and a cute underbite. Even though I'm thought to be about 6years old, I have lots of spunk and I'm past all of that puppy foolishness; and at around 15lbs, I will fit just about anywhere. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met as well as ignored those things called cats. I've done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding although I would prefer to be out with you. And once I trust that you are not going to hurt me, I've done pretty good on a leash.
