Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 ** Her adoption fee(900usd) includes a portion of her patella surgery so her adoption fee is a little more expensive than our other dogs. Her flight fee is also contained in the adoption fee so you do not need to pay more. Meet Songsong🩷 She had wide-open eyes, observing people with a weak appearance at Korean city shelter. Rescued urgently due to appearing unwell and currently undergoing treatment for deworming. * Separation anxiety: Slightly present. Exhibits howling behavior every 3-4 hours, currently undergoing training, and improving! * Housebroken: Excellent in both indoor and outdoor areas! Indoor pad accuracy is 90% (avoids using pads over again). * Energy Level (Lv1~10): Lv. 5 * Initially cautious, barks at people or dog friends but gets along well once introduced. * A bit reserved with new people but shows interest. Becomes an affectionate companion when greeted and praised. * Loves being with perceived caregivers, excelling in training due to high focus on the caregiver 🥰 * No growling when picked up or petted. Eats well when mixed with puppy milk. * No resistance! Patiently waits for favored treats without grabbing them immediately. * Rarely barks with caregivers around but can become sensitive to external noises when anxious. Can be halted with a "wait" command. * Enjoys walks but tends to get nervous with sudden stimuli, often looking back. * She gladly accepts grooming like brushing, paw cleaning, baths, and eye booger removal without any fuss. * She is not a fan of nail trimming, so there might be a bit of nibbling. Caregiver is working on it. * Travels well for two hours without motion sickness and enjoys car rides 🙂 * Mastered "Sit," "Wait," "Come here," "House" commands, a clever learner! * Minimal shedding, cooperates well during grooming 😊 * Likes: Slightly moistened dry food, cuddling, meat treats, nose work, short tug games. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @adogs_songsong 💙 Health issue: * Completed hearworm treatment (Scheduled for re-testing in May '24) * Recovering from her patella surgery * Seems to have food allergies: Tears up when given chicken barley or vegetable food; observing that dehydrated food causes fewer tears.

These pups are in Aldergrove, British Columbia too!

Story
Good day, my name is Layla and here's a bit about me:Breed: Poodle/Terrier mixAge: 11 monthsGender: FemaleWeight: 4 kgHeight: 38 cm I'm the shy loving one between me and my brother, Pepe (also posted.)My mom was lost and trying to cross a highway in Mexico one evening and was hit by a car. She lay unconscious in the road, but luckily my foster dad was walking along the highway and ran out quickly to stop the oncoming traffic before she got run over again. She only suffered a few scrapes and bruises, but was covered in fleas and was a bag of bones. She was someone’s pet, but must have gotten lost and was living on the streets for a while. She recovered and gained weight… maybe a little too much weight. My mom was actually pregnant with me and my 3 siblings. I was born secretly during the night. I grew up with my brothers and my foster’s dad other rescue dog and cat.So having a home with another dog to keep me company is important. My brother and I are truly hoping to be adopted together.I love belly rubs. I will tap your leg and flip myself around for one. I also love crawling onto your lap and putting my head on your leg. I just love being close to my owners. I usually let my brothers go first. I’m more timid and usually the one in the back. I warm up quickly, if you call my name though.I'm playful and affectionate, but not a licky kind of dog. Please, won't you bring us both home? Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknown, likely yesKids: unknown Fears: loud noises and strangers when strolling outside. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: noneLeash skills: no. I don't pull on the leash though. Please be prepared to train meHouse trained: still in process (pees outside reliably, but occasionally poops inside.) Please continue to help me learn! Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered & vaccinated. Our adoption fee is $1600.00 CAD plus applicable taxes for both of us together. This includes our transportation to Canada. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1857871##

Story
Hello, my name is Dennie (Benny) and here is a bit about me:Breed: Maltese/Poodle mixAge: 2 yrsGender: maleWeight: 13 lbsHeight: 9-1/2 inchesHighlight(s): cuddly, smart, patient, quiet, sweet, calm You'll find I am a serene and sweet pupper. I am fluffy and soft and just love to cuddle up on a loving lap.You see life was a tad rough for me and I was hurt by someone who was supposed to love me. He was a drug addict though. So neighbors saved me from him multiple times. Until finally at 7 months old, a neighbor who found me in really bad shape. In fact, with 2 broken bones and paralyzed. They dropped me off at the shelter. I was almost euthanized by the vet, but my rescuer looked into my eyes and saw life and hope. I’ve always had hope and felt I was meant for a better life, so I guess she got the message from my big brown eyes, that I was meant to live!  https://youtube.com/shorts/Kr2IwLcW_xU?si=_SnfdVeuQLtTjo2SThank goodness my eyes can speak and are so expressive! My rescuer fought for my life and so did I. It took 3 months for recovery and I have plates in my leg. Not to worry, I can walk and run around fine playing with the other dogs. You would not believe what a good boy I am. I am never aggressive and really only bark when I am scared of some big dog. I am quite happy now: https://youtu.be/6-BV7gcj_cY and just know the right new owner will adopt me soon. I don’t mean to brag, but I am quite soft and fluffy and cute, and I have overheard them saying how smart, patient and quiet I am. I kind of hope I meet my match, someone who is almost like my soul mate and is also patient, calm and kind. Someone who talks kind to me, lets me cuddle in their lap, protects me from bigger dogs, understands my sense of adventure and my love for toys! I’m only 2 after all, so I am still into toys and I am pretty curious, since exploring is how I learn best!I am eager to follow commands and learn new things. I just wish I had my house training under control. I am hoping I can get it right, but right now the vet is not certain if the damage to my spine is permanent or temporary and only time will tell. So I still have some #2 accidents. I was in a crate for a very long time and now I just want a loving lap and a fresh start with someone I can be my loving self with. I hope you are my match! I'm in love with attention from kids too and showering my affections on them, as well: https://youtu.be/S0XuZYp3eTQ,  https://youtu.be/m4g4KYjxUS0.  Energy Level: moderate to moderate lowI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yes, searching for videoKids: yes Fears: just big dogs right now.
