Story
We put our name on a list for a maltipoo with a local breeder and got a call during the pandemic that he was ready to bring home, after 6 weeks with his mom. It’s been a bittersweet experience because it was our first time having such a small dog. We had to adjust and have a lot of patience. He is very loyal to me more than anyone in the family. At times, he did have some separation anxiety but after three years has gotten better. Pascal, has quite the character and can be a bit of a bully. He believes he is way bigger than he is and will try to scare/attack bigger dogs. He definitely would benefit from a home that can provide more consistent training on this. Other than that, he is absolutely loved in our home. I would like to find a forever home for him and his sister Bruna who is listed as well. They are inseparable and I don’t think it’d be in their best interest to find different homes for them.

Story
Hi, my name is Penelope, aka Penny, aka Good Girl. My parents are moving out of the country, and I’m looking for a new forever home. I’m 7 years old and 10 pounds, perfect for a lap or small chair. I'm an introvert who loves to be alone in my tipi or snuggled up in my person’s arms. I prefer to be the only child in the family (that includes dogs and humans). I sleep most of the day, but enjoy my short walks. Hopefully you have some experience with dogs and can help me navigate the world, because my eyes don’t work like they used to. My favorite snack is peanut butter, but I like almost anything you’re willing to share with me. My mom says I have excellent table manners too because I can sit still and wait to eat. If you're an introvert like me, hopefully it'll just be the 2 of us at home. New people and environments make me a little anxious. Most days are pretty mellow, but I like to consider myself an excellent security guard. I'm potty-trained and current on vaccinations.
