Story
Meadow was with the original owner since she was a puppy. Domestic issues meant they had to give him up to the Humane Society in the fall of 2022. The dogs had been starved of attention for several months as well as had inconsistent feeding. They'd also been left alone for extended periods of time. Because of that, we recommend that she not be in a home with small children that may disturb her when eating or try to take things away from her. Despite his last few months at home, since she's been with the Humane Society, she's shown that she's smart, great with other dogs, is okay with cats (but will chase them), receives correction well, and keeps a clean crate. She is good on a leash and will go to the bathroom in a fenced in area or on a leash. She does fear things being taken away from her and will need an experienced adopter to avoid issues. She's a counter surfer and has mild separation anxiety (will jump fences to get to her person). She can be fearful until she gets to know you. Unless you're a man - that will take a little longer! Meadow is an incredible dog with a ton of potential with someone that is willing to work with her and get to know her well. She would make an incredible companion.

She's about 3 1/2 years old and Spice had it rough in the past. She ended up in the wrong homes twice, but that's all in the past and we're not going to let her down.....we have to find her the best home ever! She deserves it! Spice is all mastiff! She's going to protect you, she's going to lean on you, staring at you lovingly while practically knocking you over, and she may not like every stranger instantly but she does love people once she gets to know them.   Spice is about 125 lbs. but she's actually very good on a leash, she loves car rides, swimming, even baths! She's playful and loves her toys, and she's well-mannered too. Spice is one-woman-show, meaning no other pets for her.  She will  love you with her whole heart and will be your best, most loyal friend forever. She just needs the chance! This is the boy that will steal your heart. Brutus is a 2.5 - 3 yr old 110 lbs big boy that looks like a mastiff with maybe some cane corso. Brutus has seen the bad side of humans, but still, he is a loving soul that is grateful for being rescued. Brutus was found wet, cold, muddy and emaciated. Since being rescued, he has gained weight with lots of good food and some major TLC. He's even learned how to play and taught some good manners. Brutus is quite the smart baby - he listens well and with the proper lead he doesn't pull. Brutus has learned to fetch the ball but hasn't quite learned the retrieve part. And he sure appreciates having good food! His rescuers trained him to sit before his food is placed down. So polite! If it's nice outside, Brutus will love to be with you and play. He does not like the cold and rain but will quickly go outside to potty and ask to be let back in where there is warmth, love, food, and pets. He especially enjoys butt scratches. He loves his people and is ok socially with other dogs but loves to get all attention in the home.
