Tucker became a resident at the shelter after his owner passed. You can tell he was well loved and cared for. Tucker has a lot of energy and is strong on a lead, but with a little work he would make a great walking/trail buddy. He could entertain himself playing with a soccer ball for hours. He is treat motivated, a fast learner, enjoys scratches, but most of all running around and being near people. He also knows how to sit and give paw. With all the changes he has been through recently he is still a happy and loving pup.

Having spent years guarding his home with strong loyalty, Murphy needs a place to finally let go of his need to be the protector, knowing that his new family will provide security and he can relax and enjoy his life, with no worries. He is mostly easygoing and has a friendly demeanor, which makes him a good companion with other dogs.  He doesn’t do well with cats, though with an owner’s direction, he will usually ignore them if they keep their distance. Murphy is housebroken, healthy, and ready for his new special family. Please Note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption. I'm a big flirt and love the lady dogs over males. I absolutely love car rides and going for walks! I also just love to roll around and act silly in the grass. I was found on the streets by the shelter so no wonder why I don't have any but that's okay I just need to learn and find someone willing to put in the time and patience. I do love male dogs around my size but I dont like to share my kibble. With me having food guarding issues be best to feed me separately.
