Meet New Arrival - Charlie! Charlie is about 2 years old and weighs about 26 lbs. Our best guess for Charlie's breed mix is Min Pin/Fiest Mix (just a guess). Charlie is a happy boy who has a good deal of energy and enjoys daily walks and play time. Once he has gotten his energy out he is happy to chill with you on the couch or snuggle in for a nap. Charlie is good with other dogs, but is not good with cats. Although Charlie is not in a foster home with children, we feel he would do well with children 5 years and up. Charlie would do best in a home where someone is around a good portion of the day. Charlie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. I'm a sweet dog that recently came into the care of the Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA. I'm still getting settled in so a little nervous when meeting new people. I need a special family that can provide for my ongoing medical needs. I had pancreatitis and had to be switched to a prescription low fat food. My bloodwork came back normal and the kind people here tell me that I can go home with a family that can make sure I visit a vet regularly, stay on my special diet and definitely don't get any human food. Oh, and I need to loose some weight but that's not a big deal as I like going for walks and being active. I'm worth the extra attention, come in and see me. Staff here can share my medical records with you so you can discuss with your vet to make sure everyone is ready for me to come home.

Sage is a spunky 6 yr old purebred female Min Pin that is looking for her forever home! She’s a happy and playful girl with lots of energy to burn. She gets along with like sized dogs. It is unknown how she does with larger dogs. She would probably do well with older children but seems a little nervous around young ones. She has never shown any aggression, just slight avoidance. She barks in her crate some but will quickly settle down and take a nap. She appears to be house broken. She would love a house with a fenced in backyard for her to have fun. If you are interested in adding some fun to your life this girl is for you.

This adorable special needs pair has everyone that meets them falling in love with them. Miss Maggie is so sweet and friendly. She loves to explore and enjoys attention, cuddles and love from humans. What strangers?? Everyone is her best bud! Mr Magoo came in with Miss Maggie and he came to us blind and mostly deaf. He recently under went eye surgery to restore his vision and he is recovering well. Miss Maggie has been his constant companion through it all. Despite his original vision struggles he would still get very excited for his meal time and loves getting attention and pets from people.
