Poodle (Miniature) puppies and dogs in Hughson, California

Joey is looking for a new home, we are saddened to share his owner is terminally ill.  This 7-year-old miniature poodle was born with a deformed right paw and missing some leg foot bones giving him a short right leg, but he runs, jumps and is athletic. He had a mild left hip injury in 2018 that caused a slight limp and can get uncomfortable at times. He is very smart and responds to conversations. He has a mild temperament and will do best in a quiet home with no small children and preferably the only dog. He is not much of a lap dog, but he does love going for walk and he travels really well in the car. ##2007111##

Curly was found at a park in Manteca. He appears to be a young guy, about a year or so. He weighs 13 pounds. We aren't sure of his background, so he may need to learn his house manners still. It appears that someone gave him a home haircut, so he is a little uneven, but he is not matted. He will need regular grooming to keep his coat nice. We have to keep him on a stray hold until 3/22, but are accepting applications for him now in the event he is not claimed. We have given shots and he will be neutered and microchipped before leaving the shelter. He seems to be a great little dog who will be a loving pet. $300.00 adoption. Bessie is a pretty and sweet young pup. She is a 1 1/2 year-old, 17 pound, white, Poodle/Terrier mix. She came to AFC with her mother MoAna and a sister. Bessie came with two, one week old puppies who are now old enough to be adopted. The family had to many dogs to care for. She is potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She loves to explore outside and like most young dogs can get into a little mischief, if not watched by her humans. She loves to run around and get her energy out then come cuddle on her foster mom's lap. She is very sweet and gives kisses.. She will require regular brushing at home with an occasional trip to the groomer. She is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now.
